Just Got 2011 Bizzard Pearl Prius IV last night!

    Hello everyone :D, I am a new owner of 2011 Blizzard Pearl Prius IV with dark grey interior, it's my 1st Prius, I give up using the 2006 Sienna Limited since it's MPG is poor:( and commute 120+ miles daily. I picked it up last night late after 7pm in San Francisco Toyota. I love the technology and the superb MPG compare to the 06 Sienna. So far I only have 19 miles on it and will do more add on later this week. The Prius drive and feel very similar to the Sienna overall my wife was surprise how comfy and quiet inside the car cabin. I realized the gas price is going up so fast the gas $$$ spend on the Sienna CAN cover the car payments + the gas used. I love this forum...I read many reviews and comments before I pulled the trigger to get the Prius, I used to joined the Sienna Chat before but the site is gone. :)

    Thanks for your input. I also have the lower chrome moulding and weather tech full set floor mats on the way. I have not have a chance to fully use it yet! I guess I have to "reset" my foot to get used to the gas pedal and brake. I have co-worker bought the 1st and 2nd generation, so...I know how it ride like but never drive it before. The 3rd generation is more refine and better features. LOVE IT.

    I don't have much experience driving (I used public transportation before coming to the USA) but my wife does:
    - She drives in PWR to get the closest to normal response.
    - I got used to driving in ECO and pressing the gas pedal harder within a week. I generally try to accelerate at the top of the Eco zone.
    - She finds the brakes a bit grabby.
    - I have no problem with the brakes.

    The Prius is my regular commuter. On the rare occasion I drive our Civic I have to go easy on the gas pedal or it'll roar up to 3000rpm. I have no problem adapting to different braking behavior.

    Hey, I bought a Blizzard Pearl Prius with dark gray interior last night too! Mine is a V with the tech package. I bought an 04 for my college son in 06 and he loves it!

    WOW, congrat on the top of the line purchased. I was going to get the 2010 Red IV with NAVI/Solar roof package, but interior is beige...we have twins 4 1/2 going to sit in there, so we opt out the red and choose the white one with dark gray interior. we have to paid for the interest for the 2011 model, the 2010 have 0%. !!!!:(

    Smart call on the dark gray with twins! We have identical twin grand daughters (6 years) and what fun they are!! I would think the cup holders in the arm rest would be great for car seat access. That may save a few messes!

    My wife just got a 2010 Blizzard Pearl IV too. It looks nice parked next to my Winter Grey 2010 V. And we also traded a 2006 Sienna. There's lots of gas savings going on in this thread!

    After convincing her for years, my wife came home on Friday with a Black Prius III.
    She could not be more pleased, nor can I.

    As of 3/16/11 there is exactly ONE 2011 Prius IV left at the only Toyota dealership in my city of 160,000. Not many 2011's left on the net either.

    Probably will not see any more for a spell, either.

    Better hurry.

    Good color. I just got a blizzard 2010 and I love the color. My 08 is red and I like that too. You will love your new Prius. Especially at the gas station.

    my original quote was a 2010 Red with package 4 + NAVI and solar roof package, it is a good color but the interior is beige, we have twins boy 4 1/2 so we pass on the RED and chose the Pearl white. We end up paying the 2.9% interest instead of 0%. The white one interior is dark gray.

    So...I refer my co-worker to the same sales guy, she test drove it and bought it. plus she got the 0% 60 months deal.

    We love the Prius and will put our 2006 Sienna Limited just for the weekend use only.
