So I have a 2010 Prius II and want to get an in dash for it. I don't care for navigation, so I'd rather not pay extra to have it. I'd like one with a good user interface, dvd, and ipod ready....

Any suggestions? Also, are there any other options that would be cool to have? I don't know much about car electronics, so any input would help! And if any of you have already done this, mind showing pics?

Go to crutchfield.com .... check off your requirements ... and make your decision. Should take about a half hour. They give you everything you need to install a new head unit and ship it free. You can find stuff a little cheaper, but the dash kit and wiring harness will cost you another $50 anywhere else.

I just bought a Bluetooth head unit with TONS of great features .... a Clarion CZ500 ... for $109 shipped with a $20 coupon that you can find online at couponcabin.com and the likes. I haven't had a Clarion before, but I know I can return it for free if I don't like it. Been buying from Crutchfield for about 15 years.

I just installed a rosen in my prius 2011 (799 at trail duty.com)
its awesome , but it does have a nave
Very easy to install , i did it in less than 1 hour
But what i like the most is the factory look of it

yeah it looks clean, i would get it but it's a bit out of my budget. i'm looking to spend less than $500...

what bothers me is that what in dash i choose (other than the rosen), the finish won't match, so it may look cheap

did you want a touch screen interface? if so the pickings are slim under $500. I just put a single din Excelon 995 in my car, so far interface works pretty quick and well.
