The key remote battery says #: Cr-2032 3volt

    i have only found replacements#: Dl-2032 3volts

    what is the difference between
the letters on the battery cr & dl?

Yeah the Cr-2030 is the standard or generic name for that cell but for some reason Duracell have denoted their equivalent as DL-2030. It's the same type of battery and 100% interchangeable though.

The correct Duracell # is DL2032 and yes it should be equivalent to the CR2032. I recall even seeing that on the package when I was at the store.

Duracell: Technical/OEM has a reference to CR 20232 as well.
