we end up OTD price around 33k+, we added the 6 years 125K miles platinum warranty, we drive/commute quite a lot daily, over 100+ miles. We take advantage of the 2.9% APR 60 months financing. If you interest in one better act fast, I picked up mine on 3/11/2011 and the car was ready on 3/9. we were shock that Japan's disaster and there was warning of tsunami on the west coast along the pacific ocean side. We thought that can not pick up the car because of certain road were closed in the morning. Finally everything was o.k afternoon and we were able to arrange the buying in the last afternoon. I read on the Toyota site that production of the Prius may be delay.

Has anyone else noticed (at least in the 2011) that if it has bisque interior the upper half including the head liner is light grey?

Did that bother anyone or was I the only one?

I just go a 2011 Blizzard Pearl Prius 4 with solar roof and navigation. it has the Bisque leather. Added wood trim, led interior lighting, fog lights, chrome door trim, window shields, clear bra, removed hubcaps. I am done now and just enjoying it a lot more than the 08 I got rid of.

Would have liked the upper half to match the bisque, but can live with it.

We are planning on buying a new Prius but wonder which number is the best to buy? I do like the idea of having a Satellite radio built in and not added after market "bootlegged on."

We are planning on buying a new Prius and drive a lot of miles, about 42,000 per year. Is the 125K Platinum extended warranty worth it? It is through Toyota or is it through one of these questionable insurance companies? How much is the Platinum? Will the dealer negotiate on the warranty price? Is it worth getting estimates from several dealers?

    Thanks,

    Hugh in Iowa

If you are thinking about getting the extended warranty best to not mention it on the forums, and just read other threads on that subject. Otherwise, well, you'll see.

    You have been warned!
