Great job! Looks awesome. The blue and red goes together like pie and ice cream.

You're right, the front looks so different. That grill does wonders. I thought the grill was not compatible with fog lights though. Do you have a link for the product? How difficult was it to install? Seriously interested.

I like the grill. I think the blue LED in the tail lights don't look at all red. I put red LEDs in mine (left tail in my avatar). There is not much light left after you run a blue LED (or even a bluish one) through a red filter.

By "removed plastic wheel covers," what exactly do you mean? The rims in your pictures aren't the factory alloys that are hidden under the plastic wheel trims.

    Otherwise, looks great.

I'm pretty sure it was a typo and he meant to say red LEDs.

They are factory alloys. They're the 16" Touring rims.

    heres the link http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004H3CMVQ

Ahh.. the installation. It's kind of tricky; i had my gearhead friend give me a hand. heres what you'll need to do.

    1) pop the hood
    2) remove black plastic cover near front
    3) remove red bar going across (left/right) the front
this is tricky, you'll want a 10mm socket wrench, 10mm regular wrench, 12mm socket wrench, 12mm regular wrench. don't be intimidated! remove all the ones on the top of the bar. remove the trunk latch from the bar, there's two or three screws holding that in place. then remove the horn from the front left of the bar (if your facing the car's hood), then do the one left of that, and the corresponding one all the way on the right side. then, you need to remove that big black metal bracket holding the bar to the hybrid synergy drive silver box. do this with a 12 mm socket. then slowly lift the bar out, and you'll have access to the area behind the factory grill, this is important because it is a bolt over grill.
    4) remove the grill from the box, bend the edges on the sides so that they're straight (you'll see what i mean, they bend in a few mm during shipping). position it over the factory grill and insert screws into the holes.
    5) while you hold this in place, have a friend stick their hand down the hood and slip first a bracket on, then a washer, and then a nut, make it fingertight
    6) repeat! its a lot of fun cutting your elbow-pit on the plastic lip (you'll see what i mean)
    7) tighten
    8) bask in the glory of your almost but not too ricey prius

    Questions regarding the grill:

    - Is it chrome?
    - It says it includes instructions - are they as specific and detailed as yours, pictures?

At $33, this sure seems like a steal...what am I missing!
