    Accident damage doesn't automatically mean the car is totally undrivable.

    Your point is irrelevant. The question is what fraction of the 3% Prius sold since 2001 not on the road can be explained by accident related 'totaled' cars.

    "Totaled" cars can still be on the road so the percentage can't be explained this way.

    Here's a pristine 2006. Curious why it was totaled in the first place given the relatively minor damage described in the ad.

    I suppose many minor exterior damages may lead in totalling, in any car.
    If someone runs over a roundabout, what happens do the GB or ICE, steering?
