    That isn't the BBC line! They would be more likely to say invest more in renewables to replace nuclear.

    Hill - Just saw this, thank you for posting. It is similar to a blog link I posted over on Environmental that made some of the same points (below). I do not know though, sounds like the EV crowd is strong willed. As for me, a plug-in Prius in 2014 sounds good.

    Until every rooftop is covered in PV and every garden, park and layby has a turbine in it, i don't ever want to hear "renewables can't cover all the demand.....!" again. That vision sounds far more pleasant than a coastline dominated by nuke plants.
