You can read various threads and see quite a few of us have been using those bulbs for almost 2 years now. Speaking from experience, I have had no problems at all.

They're fine. My first set blew out after the season (bought in Oct '09 and was done by spring 2010) but my second set has been in for about 9 months and still have all 5 SMDs working.

    Good to know...

What about running these for long periods of time? I know the parking lights (where I will re-install them into) come on with the headlights. I'm going to be making a long distance drive in the night time from Florida to North Carolina and then from there to Pennsylvania.

Would these be safe to be running for like periods of 7-10 hours of driving? Or would you advise against it and just unplug them for marathon/road trip driving conditions?

I don't see a problem. I've taken trips to Lancaster PA and back at night/early morning where the hadlights would be on for 3 to 3 1/2 hours no problem. And I did a trip to VA Beach which was 7 hours and again, I had no problems.

Worst case, the bulb burns out. They're cheap enough to pop it out and put another one in. When ordering from superbrightleds, since shipping costs as much as a bulb, I'd get an extra 1 or 2 just to have em'...

I replaced all interior lights with LEDs, and the license plate, front white marker LED's, and the trunk light (31mm will not fit correctly. Requires bending contacts). Tried super white bulbs, but they still look yellow next to LED head lights. Plus they get real HOT .

Cool White LEDs look bluish next to LED headlights. What LEDs are these?

Stream has LEDs not HIDs. I also posted pics of the philips blue vision in mine when i had them installed but I too have LED headlights not HID.

us matrix replied to my comment which referenced Zedknepplin's car with the LED headlights, so I assumed he meant LED low beam.

He said hid low beam in his post, that's the only reason I pointed it out. Maybe he meant led in which case streams and my pics will answer his question.

Well, Philips Blue Vision is going to look yellow next to HIDs anyway.

Agreed, even with the LED's on a V they did that's why I switched out to LED for the parking lights (and other bulbs too)...

I have LED headlights. The bulbs still looked yellow, so I tried some LEDs. I ordered 12 of them to swap out the interior bulbs also.

I got the LEDs from Amazon:http://www.amazon.com/dp/product/B001XMQUPI?tag=priuschatcom-20 LED Wholesalers
NOTE: These (W5W) LEDs do not interfere with TPMS. ;)

Do your WLED-WHP5 parking light LEDs look bluish next to LED headlights like Zedknepplin's? Are you still using the PIAA Xtreme White bulbs for fogs?

Yeah, they are bluish, but looking at them in person I wouldn't say they look as blue or different from the headlights as they do in the photo. I'm still using the PIAA's for the fogs.

    Hi guys,

I have been following this thread since before I got my car. :p (I knew I would get these mirrors even back then) I know CivicSky tapped into the dome light for the puddle light portion of the mirrors, and the turn signal wires are there to tap into. (Thanks for the info!)

Question: Has anyone determined if the LED door sill wires will work like the dome light or do they just come on like the puddle lights on the door? I ask because I have see a lot of folks trying to locate the 'Blue'? dome wire to tap into. It seems like running new wires to tap into the overhead dome in back is the only option for now. Someone thought they found the connector WAYYY up under the dash.

BTW, I am not sure if I'll connect the white 'driving lights' or not. I do not see other cars in the US set up like this usually. Hmm... your Thoughts?

I just realized I posted this in the wrong place. Sorry...

It's funny, but when the LED headlights are OFF, the Cool Blue LEDs look Bright White!? I guess the headlamps are 'whiter' :) Plus my digital camera may effect the colors a bit.

I just want to throw in my 2 cents regarding LEDs in the fogs:

The foglight reflector housing and its lense are built to send a wide pattern onto the road. The reflector is built for a specific position of the wolfram wire in the halogen bulb. Replacing the bulb with LEDs doesn't provide that specific pattern anymore as none of the LEDs are placed on the desired location. This is why the fogs with LEDs are useless as foglights if the hosuing and lens aren't designed for them. Same belongs to headlights and high beams.

Some cheaper HID replacements are also not properly positioned. Before one installs a HID in the fog or headlights always compare the bulbs together. If the small xenon bulb is at the¨very same location as the wire of the halogen bulb then the upgrade is worth the time.

Along this same line, I would love to see someone find a projector foglight that can be retro'd into the factory housing or location for the 2010. I LOVE my projector fogs in my GenII. The supplement the headlights in a big way.
