Thanks for the correction Jeremy. I picked the Toyota bezel over the other two because of perfect texture/color match. I just "assumed" the others were 100x200's. My bad. Sorry about that ya'll.

You get used to the slight lag. The rest more than makes up for the difference. Does your cell work with the SRS WOW function. Not all phones are compatible. Sorry to here about your parking lot incident.

    Nice!

I've been wanting the 9960, but been waiting patiently to see what this 9980 model brings. This one better than the 9960? There were some complaints about the 9960 that maybe were fixed in the 9980? Did/will you install the rear view camera?

Was it a DIY? LOL, I'm considering a DIY this summer...or not!

I strongly recommend the JL HD900/5 if you do a sub. ;) Trust me on this one.

I chose the 9960, then did Hertz speakers like ShawnB2. This system is pure quality.

    http://www.kenwoodusa.com/UserFiles/File/UnitedStates/Consumer/Manuals/dnx9960_VoiceCommand.pdf........Link if for the 9960.

The only thing I use voice for is switching between SAT, Tuner and NAV while driving in traffic. Sorry, just haven't made time to play with it more.

Don't have picture yet, but placed the PTT button under the bridge. Rest your arm naturally on center console and wrap your fingers around under right side. Right where your forefinger goes. Very easy install/access and out of sight.

I see the 9980 is up on the Kenwoood site finally. Wasn't there last week.

Forgot to add, used factory location in the overhead for the mic. Works perfect for phone and voice and also out of sight.

    You have two USB ports.

The first is dedicated to compatible Apple devices only. Select iPod on the Menu to play (DNX9960).

The second is used for other devices, but they must be formated as described here, DNX9980HD | Audio File | Kenwood Corporation, then select USB on the Menu to play (DNX9960).

No pandora on mine, so can't help there.

The Kenwood site has good info, but you have dig some. Also call Kenwood. Kenwood - Contact Us They answered all my questions.

I don't know about all Kenwoods, but certainly my old DNX5220 occasionally locks up and re-boots, losing all the personal settings, favourites etc in the process. It seems random and has done it since new, both in my old car (a Honda CRV) and in the Prius.

Personally I dislike the Kenwood intensely and deeply regret ever buying it. It takes ages to start up, has what is possibly the worst nav system I've ever used and does odd things like the periodic re-boot from time to time. I'm still waiting for the "perfect" Prius head unit for RHD :).........................
