It's snow but he'd rather eat donuts.;)

This is how he got that way . . . .

That's usually what my threads turn into. A completely serious thread about my car dying on me and costing a lot of money turns into a reality show as well as "The Worlds Cutest Animals"

I'll load up the dog, swing South to pick up MelissaAnne and we'll be there in two weeks. You have to fix her car though. ;)

I might be able to fix her stereo but not the inverter. :)

To fix the inverter Melissa needs to head over to Patrick Wong's place.

    Or mellor's or pEEf's. :)
    Ha!

At my former work, there was a discussion of yellowing plastics (on computer and peripheral housings) due to the fire retardants in them that went awry and turned into a discussion about the lack of dress code and bare feet, w/bare feet proponents saying why it's cleaner/better to walk around w/bare feet.:wacko:[IMG]

cwerdna, you get to go barefoot?
awww, I'm jealous! We have "no" dress code, but shoes are required. Sigh.

I get a little around it by wearing my Vibrams. :thumb:

I even said when it happened that I wish he lived near me. I would have begged and paid for his help.

Fascinating. Slowly this thread is turning into a made for the "Lifetime" network movie.

I'm staying tuned just to see what the moral turns out to be...

Melissa got a very good repair price from her dealer covering the inverter and HV ECU. I'm sure the Bank of Mom & Dad will come through...

I've tried. The bank only offered for the original HV ECU repair. I'm having my mom beg my dad for me. ;)

I have a 'no dress' code, too. I hate shaving my legs. :p

F8L would be the one to see about that. I've heard his stereo. ;)

Speaking as a parent, that's probably a good strategy. :)

Sounds like you've signed up for your bank's overdraft protection plan.

Here's a tip on how to borrow - and repay - a loan from your parents.

Years ago, my girlfriend borrowed money from her folks to buy a car. Each month, her mother gave her a hundred dollar bill. She'd give it to her father as a loan payment. He'd give it to her mother to deposit. The next month, her mother would give her the same hundred dollar bill and she'd use it to make her next monthly payment. This continued until the loan was fully paid.
