I live in Atlanta, we ain't exactly overflowing with lots here. (like that Southern flavor? haha)

The Fiesta obviously isn't smart small but I like that I can park in the middle of a space and have room to open my door fully even with someone hugging the line on the other side.

I don't like the Smart as such but I understand why others 'get it'. Just do a google search for images of smart cars and you'll find a massive variety of fun, modified Smarts.

Looks great fun to me and how boring life would be if everyone drove a Prius.

My girlfriend bought a Toyota IQ which is about the size of a Smart and again it's not everyones choice but it works for her in her job which involves parking in a town where parking places are a rare thing.

Definitely an environment thing. If I lived in downtown Atlanta I would probably be more understanding but I have no parking issues where I live.

I still think someone can make something that small without being that ugly.

I think the iQ is a cool car. Shame they wont bring it to states until they "beef it up" and make it a scion. :(

My wife driving her '10 Prius on a preselected road course for a Alternative Energy Fair last saturday got 70 mpg over the 82 mile course. Me driving my '05 Smart Cdi got just over 101 mpg on the same course. I was happy with that, last year I only got 94 mpg on the course.

Didn't I overhear that this score was sharply marked down from what the pump really said? Something like only 0.50 gallon on the refill?

(I was behind your wife for much of the course, until I missed the light at Grand Mound.)
