I'm confused. Why not Jerusalem? Isn't that where he should return? Or is He a Yankee fan?

 

Well rapture or no rapture none of you believers can take your pets with you to your heaven. No soul, means no entry.

Therefore I think I will need to start an afterlife pet sitting business. I will gladly watch over your pet as you fly off into the above. Of course I will have to collect payment in advance, but what's a few measly dollars for an eternity of care?

 

DH is hoping that stores will have a Doomsday sale.

Every belief has a few bad apples or some that puts the rest in a really bad light.

Jesus himself said nobody knows the day he will return.

Whether or not you are a believer - the point is this group of people are directly defying what Jesus said, so the way they are following him sucks for setting a date.

 

I have yet to meet a person of any flavour of religion that actually practiced what was preached.

For the record, I missed one - think it was #25: "Can US teachers do material on comparative religions?" Something like that. I identify as Protestant.

 

Nobody I know has killed myself or anybody else they know that works on a Sunday:

Exodus 31:15 - "Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord: whosoever doeth any work in the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death."

Also I don't meet many people who are pro-death to single mothers:

Genesis 38:24 - "And it came to pass about three months later, that it was told Judah, saying, Tamar thy daughter-in-law hath played the harlot; and also, she is with child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt."

The list goes on...

What about a recent one that is more "popular".

Anybody from the anglo religions who was glad or thought it right to kill Osama Bin Laden, broke their faith. Remember that whole "love thy enemy" thing?

I also missed one. Though two questions were coin flips after narrowing to two choices. I identify as Atheist.

But I could identify other atheists who would do no better than random chance on this quiz.
