As far as I know, the Prius II's wheels offset is 45mm max.
What if I install the wheels with 50mm?
    Will work?

    Thanks!

Don't know for sure, but even if it works, 50mm is pretty narrow don't you think?

I guess that depends on how wide the tires and rims you are planning on installing.

That is the stock tire size for the Prius V/Five. I have those on my car with the OE 17' wheels but I have no idea what the offset is. I am sure that somebody here does. I think it is maybe 40mm?

Those are hot. Worst case scenario, you'll need spacers. Would the seller let you try them on first?

These rims come in a lot of sizes/options and they're not discontinued so maybe there's a good chance you can find another set from another seller...?

haha, since those are 2nd hand rims but in good condition and very attractive price. So, no options ! :D

    Maybe spacers are the solution~

Is the PIII in same specification for the wheels installation?
As I found that somebody here installed the wheels which are 50 offset...

You should be okay running the +50 offset. My rims are 16s with a 50 offset and my tire width is 205. Like Mac said, you could always use spacers.

I'd caution going too extreme on offset unless you plan on keeping the car at stock height. If you lower the car then offset will become more critical. Obviously at any height you'll have to consider if the wheel will clear the struts.

Push the offset too much and you'll sink the wheels so far into the wheel well (positive offset) that the car will look goofy and it may negatively affect handling. The more you push the wheels outside the wheel well (negative offset) the better the handling (within reason).

I am not so familiar in cars. But seems we have no LRR in the market.
Just surfed on the web, Bridgestone seems does not sell GR90 in US market. :)

According to the Prius specs it can take a range from +35mm to +48mm. I don't want to mislead you but there was a forum which I read that the Prius V 17" OEM Wheels are +50mm. If this is not true then you can always put spacers. I've been looking around to put some 17" Corolla XRS with +39mm on my Prius II, which so far I believe it will work since they stay in the 35-45 range.
