Michelin Energy MXV4 or Michelin EnergySaver A/S

    I think the more efficient version of, the MXV4 is now the MXM4.

    I don't think the MXM4 come in the right size for the Prius. Also their warranty period is a little shorter.

    Sorry, I was thinking I was in the GenIII forum where 17" wheels are more common. The MXM4 would not be my first choice for the 15" tire series. Only for the 17" tire series. :)

    I went to Costco for tires and they told me that their Michelin X were the same tire as the MXV4. Last week I had a sidewall blow out and took it into wheelworks who said the same thing that Costcos Michelin X is the same as the MXV4. It's just relabled and another MXV4 would cost 140$. I drove to Costco about a mile away and they replaced the tire for free. I have been very happy with my Michelin X tires AKA MXV4.
