    I can recommend that JVC...funny how it's not considered a customer favorite, even though it has 59 reviews with an average rating of over 4 stars. ;-)

    You know, I think the JVC has better features than some of the others. Well, not better... but I'd say that it has nothing more than what I want, and what I would pay for.

    I love that the AUX and USB ports are right on the front of the unit... not to mention the detachable face. Great looking unit too!

    I went to the local car audio place here in town that's been around forever... the first thing he showed me was the $1799 Kenwood. Sorry dude, but I like buttons! :D ...and $1,000 less please :) I don't need the best, just need something good enough for me.

    I'll do some more research on the JVC. From what I've read it's a super easy install, or easier than some others.

    I had it installed where I purchased about a year ago when it first came to market. It looked complicated enough, especially when you have to concern yourself with the steering wheel controls. I have an elbow tendinitis, which is why I avoided it for the most part.

    The only potential caveats with it include maps that need updating (JVC says Navteq will have an update this month or next), a somewhat low screen resolution and a forced boot-up screen that you have to observe and click through on each and every ignition. I don't use use the Bluetooth/phone features.

    It's all here JVC KW-NT3HDT Navigation receiver at Crutchfield Signature Crutchfield makes it E-Z Step by step with support!I did this on my Yaris 3dr Hback. If you can read you can do it!

    I think all of the navigation units are a part of the Arsenal series actually. ;-)

    best of luck to ya ,i just picked up my 2011 prius 2 ,the wife and i just love this car,were getting 52.mpg not bad
