Took a trip from Seaside to Astoria for the Sunday Market. There was 5 of us adults in the Prius.

The Oregon State Truck Scale on Highway 101 Mile Post 15 read
3,950 lbs for the weight of our Prius.

I was amazed with all the weight gas mileage did not suffer and the ride was comfortable with plenty of power.

Also round trip from a cold start at Seaside was well over 50 MPG., Temp was 63 degrees dry roads and little to moderate variable wind.

Gas, as always in Oregon, regular grade with 10% Ethanol required in Oregon all year long.

    I was impressed......

Very impressive! Did you drive in regular mode most of the trip? Did you need to use power mode to get you up the hills?

You get the same amount of power in any of the three modes.
