Thanks for posting these! I saw this car, matte metallic gray paint, on PriusChat a year ago. Then a few months ago I wanted to find the pictures but I couldn't! Everyone theought I was crazy haha. So I guess this is "Robert's" car? Hi Robert, lol.

The PriusChat forum was putting me to sleep the past few days. Volt. Mileage. Battery issues. Oil changes. Just boring a$$ threads. LOL. This woke me up again.

I've looked into doing it to mine a few times now, but every time, it seems, I mention doing something crazy like that to my Prius, everyone tells me it's ghetto on the forum here, so haven't pursued it....

 

Don't let anybody tell you what to do, breh. I'd much rather read about your lambo doors than see the 1000th thread on the Volt or 'is this a good deal on a Prius.' Seeing other people's mods is the only reason I come back to this forum.

Thanks, needed to hear that.... Been a tough week... Granny has been in FULL SPEED DEMENTIA mode... I've had to watch her 24/7 like a security guard cause she poses a risk to run off.... Shame to get that way...

Anyhow, with lambo doors, don't know if you'd do ALL 4 doors, or just 2 front ones.... ?? Any ideas?

 

I dont know. I think you can do all 4. I found these. They're just universal conversion kits.

I met you last weekend at Five Axis... I am currently ordering Bellezza Steering Cover, at the event you told me to get "medium" size while this thread says "small" size... I am wondering which size is correct?

I would have front doors open forward lambo style and rears open suicide style but alla lambo

 

^Very cool Rod. I'd tear a page from this, but my hands are small and I'm always afraid steering wheel covers will be uncomfortable for me.

 

Hey! I didn't understand what you meant by the "rears open suicide style but alla lambo"

 

^He means that rather than the rear doors having the hinge in the usual place near the front doors, the hinge is at the back of the door where it would normally open (where the door handle is). I think this style makes it easy to open them at the same time, less hitting maybe.

 

How did you get it to say "Senor" below your username??? This is the 1st time I ever saw that...

Yeah, I assumed he meant to open from the back of the door, but the "alla lambo" was what threw me. ("Open from the back" alla lambo.... ?????? I was trying to fig how something would open suicide-style PLUS lambo style....)

 

Mine says "señor"?!?! I never noticed. Danny must be playing a dirty trick on me. Kidding, I changed it to that. You can change it to anything you want. You're actually the first who's ever spoken up about it!

Suicide doors open opposite of each other. "A la lambo" means in the style of lambo doors. And by the way to who said it first, it's "a la." That's French. Not Allah, as in "Praise Allah!! BALALALALALA!" Boom.

Kidding.
