I have a 2011 III with leather seats. The car has around 3500 miles and I have noticed the bottom of the seats look wavy and not flat. Has anyone experienced this? I wanted to check here before I took it to the dealer to see what they would say, probably that it is "normal". I am afraid the seat will wear faster where the waves are.

My Prius V has factory installed leather seats, and they don't have anything like you describe. FYI--since you have a III (which doesn't come with factory leather seats) you must have aftermarket leather covers, and it sounds like they either weren't installed correctly, or weren't made correctly.

I had the same problem in the passengers sit, I noticed that the sit was loose there is a plastic clip in the front which maintains the leather cover tight, if that is loose or broken you need a cover replacement.

Prius 3 with leather has different sits than the factory ones, has to be because mine are the worst I have ever had in any vehicle and they are falling apart all the time!

When they changed the cover they scratched many parts inside the car and the new cover doesn't look like the original has many wrinkles NOT FLAT

Typical Toyota dealer quality here in Florida, dealers here are atrocious !

    Good luck!
