Have a 2011 level 4. It has a black strip on the inside on the top of the drivers side. Maybe a RFID tag or something. Anyone know the purpose of this tag? Thanks

Same thing on my Prius - 2 years ago - was told it was applied at the Jacksonville FL Port by SET region. No doubt for inventory etc purposes. The dealer is supposed to remove during prep.

I saw a Prius Two at the dealer in Enterprise Al. last night it still had the black sticker installed. As mentioned above must be a SET thing. This car also had tinted windows, window VIN number etching, and a heavy duty rear bumper protector, all those options brought the price up almost a thousand dollars. The other think I notice on the sticker was the car was originally destined for Birmingham, Al. I wanted to check the production date but when I told the salesman I was only there looking he did not seem to keen on opening it up for me… He said that was there first Prius for a long time it was there for only a day and had plenty of people looking at it. This poor dealer had about 30 Tundra's on the lot.
