I recently had the electric hybrid water pump replaced, under warranty. (5 days ago). Tonight coming home I noticed a clicking sound coming from the engine, sounded like a blinker was on, but it wasn't. You could hear it, we were going about 20 mph, on electric. When I pulled into the garage, put it in park but left the engine on, opened the hood, you could still hear it, from the hybrid side of the engine, a clicking sound, at about a blinker rate. Any ideas or reason why? Thanks! I'm at 58K miles and no problems to speak of prior to bringing it in for the recall.

The inverter coolant pump is located directly behind the driver's headlight. Since that part was recently replaced, I suggest that you locate it and see whether it is making the sound that you have noticed.

Thanks for the note. I see the pump. No clicking today, so far, I checked when the engine was cold, then later after running, but no clicking. I think the clicking was coming from the fuse and relay box though. If it sounds off again - I will pay more closer attention to where the sound is coming from.
