What is this plastic piece?

    Found this plastic piece in the trunk of my wife's 05 Prius today. My daughter had been using the car for the last couple of week and was out of town. Looks like an a/c vent duct to me. Numbers on the piece LHD >pp-t20< 953 on one side and >pp-t20<954 on the other side...Would like to re-install it if I new where it goes...Anyone?

    It goes just above the driver's right knee. I hope this picture helps. I just stuck the camera down there one day and snapped a couple dozen pictures to get the lay of the land. If I actually bent down there to look, I'd probably never straighten out again -- I'm old!

    Makes total sense now...my daughter had a leg brace on her right leg after surgery for about 2 weeks. She was using the car at college and her brother returned the vehicle to us. She must have knocked the vent duct off and tossed it in the trunk area without telling us...Thanks for the help with this mystery...will squeeze under the dash and replace it....

    Yup......kids in college have a strange habit of not telling parents of whatever happens to the car......I thought it was only my kids.
