That depends. The front had more toe and the front has more weight on the tires so it requires more work to move the tires down the road a fraction of a degree from straight ahead than the rear does.

If you didn't notice an improvement in economy from adjusting the front, the smaller improvement from adjusting the rear won't show up either.

That said, there would be some improvement whether it showed up in your fuel consumption checks or not. And as a former racer, you know that the difference between winning and loosing is getting all those nearly imperceptible differences dialed in just right because they add up.

If you do it remember to recheck the bolt torque a few times after you do it.

I would be tempted to do it because factory alignment specs are sloppy and you are near the limit on rear toe.

I agree. I've turned off the stereo, turned off the headlights during the day and stuck the trickle charger on the battery then I will start making an honest measurements.

I kept the trickle charger on the battery all night and when I remove it the meter reads 12.8 v at the battery terminals. After sitting for a few hours it drops back down to 12.4 v. Is that normal or is this a result of a battery that has lost some capacity?

Sounds like normal wear and tear. The parasitic load from the car will dissipate the surface charge pretty quickly, and cause minor voltage sag as well. 12.4V with no load is still 75% state of charge, so you've got at least that much.

Thanks! I'll keep an eye on it and plan on replacing it in a year or two if the capacity drops too much more.

My battery never drops that fast! Mine is the originality 12V,as well. My car is total stock, so normal draw when asleep. Hal

tick tock tick tock lol. I emailed TRS this morning and sent them some pics. Hopefully I'll hear back today and let you know.

Just let me know if you wanna borrow the TIS cable. I probably have the ZIP file of TechStream that you can install and use in "evaluate" mode for a day or so if you want/need to dig any deeper. Just don't ask me how to use it, because I've only updated the TPMS IDs with it and that takes me 30 mins to figure out where to go each time.

I put the 15s back on just to reassure myself that the car is operating fine. Well, it is just dandy.

I've only driven about 45 miles; mostly on the freeway. The gauge is sitting at 58.2mpg! I'll see what it looks like when I get home which means another 40 miles worth of driving but at least I know there is nothing wrong with the car.

    *Edit*

The car is not broken. :)
