Flying car gets OK for highway use...

I'm looking forward to hearing from you. I originally had a good impression of the guy in the mid 1970s but it had nothing to do with his various incarnations of his flying machine.

I used one of his Disco-Jet Xdusor II mufflers on a 125cc dirt bike and one of the engineers I worked with thought Moller could walk on water, then he started with his flying saucers. He had taken a controls class from Moller at UC Davis and he said Moller was a fun, interesting professor.

If it's anything like hang gliding (which I did once in New Zealand) it would be fun, but I'd be REALLY REALLY sick.

I take the strongest stuff there is: Scopolamine. It helps a LOT. I couldn't go out on the water at all without it. With it, if it's not too rough (big "if") I won't be sick enough to spoil the fun. If it is rough, it's not fun.

The really big side effect for me is a very dry throat. In dry weather, it's painful. In humid weather (such as the Caribbean) it's not bad at all.

 

Well, unless operations have moved elsewhere... there's only sad news to report. I've been by Moller International 10 times in the past five days. And none of the dust has been disturbed since I looked closely last year. Somebody seems to be paying the rent, and the big sign is still out front. But the place is empty, and there is certainly no action.

 

If that means he isn't bleeding more investors, there is nothing sad about that.:rockon:
