    The production's up - they are trying to fill us up with cars asap. My worst fear will be that the availability of the hybrid battery for the regular Prius will be diluted with the v wagon and the PHEV coming... so this may be as good as it gets! :)

    I should have clarified that before I hit Submit Reply!!... the car itself (the parts) are all Prius like a regular Prius. Yeeesh, I know the battery is Lithium - I meant the car parts itself, ie body, motor parts etc. Sorry for the confusion!!
    Kinda red faced. I know the battery isn't same. :p

    We sell everything we get.
    I only have one Prius here that's more than 45 days in stock and it's a red/gray V with advanced tech package.
    I'd love to sell it.
    I have it priced very aggressively on my DEALS thread here. It's a fantastic car but it's time.... ya know?

    Toyota still has a problem with the MIX... out of 1,200+ cars coming this next allocation, more than 50% are II's.
    That helps with folks who wants II's and also looks like the lot is well stocked on Prii here in SoCal but we get allocated WAY too many II's and nowhere near the other package cars we need yet.

    But, you can't place any blame... it's the quake aftermath and parts supply. There's no new 2012 till December. The V Wagon makes its debut in November (or a tad earlier) and the Prius C comes in January, according to my own internet research. If, in order to be able to ship 2,000 Prii to Southern CA in August, it means that 50% or more have to be II's, we'll take 'em! :)
