Evidently they're very crude, although my zooming in on the Prius C spy photos a lot is revealed about the cars styling...

Using my (amazing) photoshop skills and 10 minutes i created these 'renderings' (more like child drawings) with the brush tool.

Is anyone else seeing a lot of Hyundai Veloster in the front end? The rear remains (relatively) true to the concept car as well...

    It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a re-badged Auris!

I don't think it's a rebadged Auris at all, this looks smaller than an Auris and it has a totally different shape, the rear window and pillars are totally different.

I tried darkening lines around some of what is already clearly visible in this shot.

Is anybody else seeing the styling similarities between the C and these cars?

The pillar design of the CT200h and the front of the C3 and Veloster...

Is it a plugin? The rear looks heavy and bottom out.

I'd say it has heavy balasts in the back to simulate a heavy load and test how it strains the drivetrain/suspension/handling etc

Yes, I'd say there are definitely shared design elements between the Prius C and the CT200h with the upward kinked rear door glass and wrap around rear glass.

... and you couldn't figure out why there were spy photographers following you around trying to take your picture whenever you wore them. :)

Nice work DV; I can't wait to see what colors Toyota is going to offer the C in (besides wondering about all of the other details :D)

Im dizzy just from staring at the optical illusion camo! It does look like it has elements from the Prius C and CT200h though.

It's looking very much like this will be sold as the Yaris Hybrid in Europe. Toyota GB provided a number of renderings back in March:

Ok, I'm going through Prius C info withdrawal! There haven't been any new developments released for a while now. :(

Yes...I want to see the product.

    But at this embryo stage?

Here's what I care most about in relationship to The Prius C.

Lowest cost Toyota Hybrid with HSD. Highest MPG of any non-plug in Hybrid.

Almost everything else becomes secondary. I don't expect it to be ground breaking in any other regards.

If it can offer high MPG's and obtainable new car buy in? Then I have to be interested.

But yeah, I'd expect pretty rudimentary small hatchback styling. Hopefully Toyota suprises me with "More" not less...but I'm thinking more Yaris small hatchback than anything else.
