I really dislike people asking stupid questions like this.

Why do you think it's stupid question? I personally think it's a great question for someone interested in buying the new Prius.

If you think it is so clever, then use the search tool.

I searched for word, "hate" and "like", etc, but nothing useful turned up. If you can find a thread where people talk about list of things they don't like about Prius Gen3, please post a link.

If you buy a Prius (G3 or otherwise) you're going to have to get used to that.

Say anything the least bit uncomplimentary about G3's and....you're an idiot or a troll.

    Dislikes....(my top 5)

    1. Cost.
    2. X-box steering.
    3. Poor and Bifurcated rear visibility
    4. Seats/Carpet
    5. Radio (tie)
    6. Squeaks (tie)

There are several looooong and very gushy reviews on the G3 buried in the forum somewhere. You might try searching for that. OK. Maybe not. The search function is pretty lame. Just post a thread asking why there aren't any comprehensive reviews on the Prius in this forum. You'll probably have two or three links just as fast as the forum cops can wipe the powdered sugar off their chins.
Or...if you're really interested in purchasing a G3 (or G2) and you need help with the coin toss, Just give your particulars and post a "Is the Prius right for me?" question. One or two out of ten members will actually tell you that it might not be the best car for your lifestyle.
So...that leaves us with the idiot or troll question.
If you really are a troll...then you've already reeled in your first irate owner.
Sit back and enjoy the thread.
If you're an idiot...press and hold the Ctl key, then press F4.

    Good Luck!

The search feature IS pretty useless.
I tried looking up "HID" (without the quotes, of course) for info on HID kits and general buying/installation info and search reveals NOTHING..although I'm certain I've seen threads on HID in the past.

When you get your Prius, you'll find several quirky things at first but then you'll become accustomed to the special way the vehicle is designed and equipped. Truly, the only thing I really dislike about my Prius are the OEM tires. I can't wait for them to wear down enough to justify replacing them.

    Best wishes!

An alternative would be to Google search limiting the hits to this site.

    Example: site:priuschat.com hid.

The search function doesn't allow 3 letter word searches. V Bulletin forums are like that. I use Cwerdna's method when searching for 3 letter words.

    I can't think of 5 things that I don't like.

#1 Rattles. This is mostly my fault because i've modified or taken too many things apart too often.

My biggest peeve? The damn thing burns gasoline even to just drive across town. I rarely drive ANY car across town, but sometimes when the planets are aligned and there are too many kids involved and it is pouring rain and blowing 50 mph, and I have to go shopping for the extended family of 16... I sometimes drive. And when the EV is gone and I am only left with the Prius I feel like a real chump burning gasoline just to motivate a few hundred pounds of humanity a few miles.

Smaller peeves - Fat A-pillars; bifurcated rear window; sluggish steering

What I like: Pretty much everything else.

    Five things I don't like:
    1. Rattles
    2. Driver's seat-it's better than the Gen2 but still not good enough
    3. Center console/bridge thing
    4. Packages, i.e. shouldn't have to buy Nav to get DRCC, 3 door SKS should be available in all versions, etc.
    5. Could use another 25 to 35 HP, this might cut the mileage though.

    Five things I like:
    1. Fuel economy
    2. Drivability and handling are very good for an economy car
    3. Exterior fit and finish are good for a car in its price range
    4. Lots of interior room for the size of the car
    5. Fairly easy to do basic DIY maintenance, oil changes etc.

Just one dislike, the cheap Yaris like entry level interior plastics. I realize I'm paying this much for the modern drivetrain, but..........

The nav. If the car is smart enough to know someone is is the passenger seat to turn the air bag, on then it should also know that someone is in the passenger seat and allow them to use the nav phone buttons ect. It is so stupid to have to pull over to the side of the road so my wife can do a search on the nav.

There is a lockpick 3 on sale in the sale section. That will solve your grief. :)

Side note: to limit to say Gen 2, I'd Google for site:priuschat.com hid "gen ii".

Also, if you want to limit to a time range, click on Show search tools on the left side then choose the time frame/range you want. But, it doesn't necessarily work that well for excluding old posts/pages.
