    Thanks man!! I can't wait to see what other combos people come up with!! I may be looking into other parts to vinyl.. I will keep u posted!

    I haven't had any problems reversing.. Last night it was pouring rain here.. I had no problems seeing behind me.. But I have reverse camera..definitely no problems with the turn signals.. If you are worried u don't have to get the smoked turn signals or reverse lights!

    Because I am interested with the overlay.

    Kind of expensive to get the JDM tail lights.

    Here is a close-up picture of my tail light wrap. It used Lamin-X red film ($80 for custom cut pieces), and I had it done professionally though the film came with an installation kit and instructions. I had the film cut away for the turn signal and back-up lights, but the cut-outs came out very nice, like the tail lights were made that way. The installer said he liked that the film was thicker than usual films, but he thought it might peel at some point in the future. We'll see. I think they look great.

    The flash set off the reflectors at the bottom of the tail light. I'm thinking of getting LED turn signal lights sometime soon.

    Looks very nice!! Like how mine would look without the smoked turn signals and reverse lights. Very cool!

    I like the red overlays. I've been thinking about picking up some Lamin-x to do this myself over the past few months.

    Question for BZYRICE, are the tinted and red vinyl one piece or are they seperate?

    They are separate, so my taillights consist of 6 pieces.. 2 red pieces, 2 smoke turn signal, 2 smoke reverse.

    What's cool about bluebatmobile, is that he can do any special configuration u want!!

    I would send him another email. Like I said he is on soo many forums. I don't think this is his main job, so he sometimes takes a few days to respond. It will be worth it! :)

    So I noticed he put the disclaimer the tints are for off-road use only (lol). Have you been harassed with the overlays on at all?

    If you black out the reflectors, it'd be illegal, but if you go with red overlays, you won't have problems as the reflectors will still shine through.

    lol.. I think it depends on which one you choose. Like if you got all smoked taillights.. I have NEVER been harassed lol

    Lamin-X says nothing about "for off road use only" on their website or in the literature that came with my overlay.
