I had them professionally installed. The blue wire was tricky for Tommy to find because of the way it was hidden, but he found it after poking around for a little while.

Yeah, I went to the same installer probably 2 weeks later to have mine installed, and he still had a difficult time locating that blue wire. I think the wiring bundle might even be slightly different depending on which model you have.

I am confident that is a true statement. I noticed my model II had fewer wires than 32K's pictures indicated. It was still a pain for me to locate the wire.

Looking forward to seeing them installed and in action.

By the way, you really need to get uploading your photos working as they're not visible or we won't be able to see your car once it's finished.

Oh, I didn't realize that. So, no pics I put up in the messages show up? I wonder why they show up when I look at the messages in the forum, but not when other members look at them? Is there some setting on here that I'm supposed to be doing so that all members can view them?

From the link properties, it looks like you linked it directly from your hotmail account attachments. Therefore, other will not be able to see them but you can because they are cached on your computer.

Finally got around to washing the car today and checked out the $20 painted covers. Now it has only been since April that I installed them but they look every bit as good as the day I installed. No peeling no nothing. In fact not rock dings either!

This winter will be a good test for sure but I am satisfied at this point.

Very cool that it's holding up this well so far. So it's not one of those paint jobs that chip off in 3 short months.

The clear vinyl overlay may be a good idea on these, I've decided....as well as my front bumper! lol! I drive interstate, LONG trips all the time and around our area, and I swear I have 20 chips on the front of my car... Gonna have to do an overlay on it (if they work as well as people say) after I get my body kit installed later.

I agree with your question as unclear. Expect after finding this video and product that maybe it is mirror and light by itself, without heating pad.

I am also wondering if they would sell the LED part by itself with whatever we need to keep it from hyper flash as that would not be good. Blue mirror verses normal mirror. I think standard mirror would be better.

I don't really know what they mean when they say "blue mirror".... Could you explain, please? And, what did you mean by 'whatever we need to keep it from hyperflash'?

LED turn signals must have some kind of resistor or relay in order to keep them from hyperflashing. The standard turn signal mirrors as well as the Valenti lights already have a built-in resistor. Ideally, the LED mirror glass or the LED part itself should have a built-in resistor to keep it from hyperflashing.
