    HEY THERE TXL146 !!!

    :):):):)

Thank you for the kind words. It's been quite a great build for about a year now.

Like anything else, I get mixed reviews ... my style isn't for everyone and I appreciate that. In a country with over 1 million Prii, I wanted mine to be a personal expression of myself.

I went with the black Clazzio seats as I didn't find the Light Beige, Beige, or the Ivory a close match to the factory color. So I decided to go with the next color I saw in the interior that would complement the style I was going for. So naturally I chose Black. I did however choose the Light Beige Stitching so I do have some contrast in the seats that I could tie in with the factory color as close to it as possible.

With the VIP Style I chose the wood grain. I didn't think the interior carbon fiber look would go with the VIP Style.

I am very thankful for my Sponsors, they have been really supportive throughout.

After the Sponsorships are complete, I will be considering going through yet another revamp !!!

Tell me about your Prius, and pix? I am always interested to see what other great folks are doing to their Prius' too !!!

    Hope you're having a great weekend !!!

Rodney, how easily can you remove the curtain? can you remove the curtain without removing the rails? also, is it still $58 for 2 sets?

Also, regarding installation.....per the manufacturer, the METAL rods go on the top (you have to physically BEND THEM to fit the contour of the top of the window frame), and the PLASTIC rails go/mount on the bottom (where the bottom curtain rings attach)...

    HEY TXL146 !!!

    :):):):)

The curtains can be easily removed.

The rails are secured with double sided tape.

The pricing at the time I purchased them were about $58/pair.

If you want to do the front and rear windows you will need to purchase 2 pairs.

I used the Small Size for the Prius.

Feel free to contact Freddie at AutoFashion USA for current availability and pricing at:

Tell Freddie I sent you !!!

    Hope this helps !!!

    Thanks GoldPianoGarden !!!

    :):):):)

In regards to this installation procedure, I have also had success with the plastic rail mounted on top, and the metal on bottom. I found it to be easier to bend the plastic against the contour rather than the metal.

I have also replaced all the included double sided tape with the 3M Brand Molding Double Sided tape and found this to be much stronger than what is included.

Choose whichever works for ya !!!

    HEY PRIUS CHAT FOLKS !!!

    :):):):)

Just had some last minute items done to HBII in preparation for the SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nevada coming November 1-4 !!!

    Here's what I did !!!

    01. Rear Spoiler Painted Blizzard Pearl to match
    02. Rear Valiance - Emblems Shaved
    03. Front License Plate Holes Shaved
    04. Front End Repainted and Re-Clear Bra'd

    Here are pictures !!!

The Rear Spoiler and Valiance - I've always wanted to paint the Rear Spoiler to match as the original Black, in my opinion, reveals more hairline scratches. And I decided to shaved the rear emblems because I've always liked the smooth clean look of that area.

The Rear Spoiler and Rear Valiance Before ...

    And After !!!

Here are pictures of the Front End ...

I wanted the Front License Plate Holes Shaved as with the Rear Valiance I like the Smooth and Clean look for the Front End. **This is only for show purposes**

I will be fabricating a license plate relocation holder so that the Prius will still have the License Plate visible for LEGAL daily use !!!

And I wanted to have the whole front repainted to match and re-Clear Bra'd for full protection of the paint !!!

    Here are After Shots

How far over from the black rubber window trim did you mount the curtain rails onto the door? I am talking myself into FINALLY installing mine, although I know it will take me FOREVER to bend the metal rods into the shape of the upper window frames. And, since you've had yours installed all this time, would you have moved your rails farther toward you, or closer toward the black rubber window trim? Was wondering if you were satisfied with their clearance of the window going up and down. I need to put on my wide door visors, but I think I should go ahead and put the curtains on first, because I believe the visors would be in the way later for my installation of the upper curtain rails. Thanks, dude!!

You should fabricate something similar to this GrimmSpeed product which utilizes the front tow hook port. Just screw in for daily use and remove and cover for show use!

    GrimmSpeed

FYI - In case you want to purchase this product for the Prius, it might not fit.
I asked GrimmSpeed if they could tell me what the thread pitch was on this product because I wanted to purchase it for my Prius. They replied back with that it wouldn't fit... I'm not sure if they actually did verify that though. They never did give me the thread pitch specs of their product.

While my initial intentions were to keep my wife's car stock, I should NOT have come into this thread. Damn you Rodney! It took me a couple of days to finally read through the entire thread, but like many people on PR, I feel like I know Rodney personally.... :)

You had me at "hello" from this pic...

    But topped yourself again here...

The first pic looks more tuner whereas the 2nd pic seems more refined. Good job Rodney, please keep it up.

    HEY GOLDPIANOGARDEN !!!

    PM SENT !!!

In case however, I installed the rods close to and almost touching the black rubber window trim. The clearance hasn't caused me any issues as I almost never roll down the windows during driving.

Hope this helps and Good Luck with your Installation !!!
