    I know this is not a Prius, but it is a Toyota Electric. There is a cockpit video & audio of the entire 7+ min. lap run which is fun to watch.

    There is something wrong with that cars performance or power claims. It's a purpose built track car, but slower than a stock 2005 Corvette Z06 around the ring and the Corvette has a worse power to weight ratio. It was way slower than a 2012 Z06 which has the same power to weight ratio as the 2005 and is still a very streatable car.

    And how many laps can it do on a single charge? I bet it's only one. And then they have to charge the battery for 8 h. Did they manage that time in first attempt? In theory it can get a lot faster in practice you don't have many attempts to do it.
