I just bought a 2008 Prius that has some nasty haze accumulated on the inside surface of the speedometer display cluster. Can anyone direct me towards a disassembly diagram/PDF for the dash, or procedure for accessing this area sufficiently enough to remove and clean the surface? :)

The display you see is a mirror image of the display that lies flat in the top of the dashboard (difficult to see) make sure this is clean before dismantling anything. IN ready mode slide a flat card or magazine toward the dispay to see what I mean.

Yeah. Unfortunately the contamination is on the underside and cannot be cleaned without removing the dash so far as I can surmise. It would be nice to have a service manual for the removal procedure.

Tips, air bag use 12 mm socket, very tight bolts and corner pieces comes out as one piece, disconnect top part as described in ingineerix.com, then work the rest out.
