I'm going to try that next winter and see if they stay put better. Like I said, I'm happy with them, just wanted to post my total experiences. :)

Thanks! I just ordered these in black for my Bisque interior (2007) from Streetside per your recommendation. They fit great and complement the black dash, like another poster here commented. I like that they are one of the few
that go over the hump in the rear seating area too! My cooler perched there
with the kids dumped and the rug didn't even get wet!

There are 2 gen III Prius in my family. I purchased the Weathertech front and rear for my wife and the Husky front and rear for my Prius. I find the Husky superior to the weathertech. The holes used for the clips to hold the weathertech in place leaks water onto the carpet. The husky doesn't have those holes. Instead it has these tiny grips on the bottom which keeps the in place. I can also easily remove the husky to wash them.. I have to struggle with the clips on the weathertechs. Unfortunately i can no longer use the rear Husky mats on my Prius because I installed seat extenders to give me more leg room. This takes away room from the rear seat. The mat doest fit there anymore.
The Pruis is an amazing car.

+1 on Husky floor mats! I've been a long time fan of husky floor mats and owned a set with diamond plate pattern in my old 1999 4Runner (I still miss those days when gas prices were under $2.00 lolz) before I sold it. How can I forget the prickly bottom of those mats! They would scratch the skin off your arms and leather interior of your chair if you didn't take the time to move them in and out for cleaning. Don't they use devices similar to keep cats and dogs off leather couches? It's essentially a torture device if you flip it over. :p But overall they were simple to install, no fussing with clips, and extremely durable for being so thin and featherweight. They really did their job to protect the carpet due to the high surrounding edges to prevent any spilling, something these mats are really known for!

Having said that, I'm so excited to have scored a new set (1st and 2nd row) of these Husky Weatherbeaters in black! I got them new at a ridiculously low price on fleaBay! I was leaning towards the WeatherTech but the combination of price & usability of the husky mats couldn't be beat! I can't wait to get them installed!

Just installed the black Husky Weatherbeater floor liners in my 2011 with Misty Gray interior. They shipped from AutoAnything in one box. They look and fit great. It's nice to have a mat that's not going to leak. They are slightly tacky, not slippery or too hard. I think black is the best color for this interior since the OEM mats were dark gray. If I get a cargo liner, gray would probably be the best color there.

The pics don't do it justice. They practically disappear inside the car. Beats muddy carpet, that's for sure. So far no tendency to slide forward.

Just purchased a set from Streetside, $88.00,no tax no shipping and handling,:cool:

Installation instructions come with the mats. It's a no
Brainer. You remove the OEM clips, if they were to secure to the clips, then there would be a hole in the mat, and water would drain out.

I just turned the clips around, rather than remove.

What a great thread with some awesome pics and info. I'm almost two months into my new '11 Prius and I have little confidence that my wimpy factory floor mats will be around for any length of time. First, the clips are a pain in the arse and I can already see where my heel is wearing into the mat. These Husky mats seem a bit 'industrial' but seem to be receiving good reviews.

I need to install a weather mat in my cargo area. Do the clear ones they call "exact mats" have a lip around them? I haul spring water once a month so have been putting down a towel. I am getting the impression from what I am reading that maybe Husky is better than weather tech if I go that route. Suggestions appreciated.

I'm considering the purchase of the Husky Weatherbeater floor mats for 2011 Prius. Could you give some idea of how it works when the clips are "turned around" instead of removed? Do you just swivel the clips 180-degrees, and place the Husky mats between the clip hooks and pedals? Is it still a good fit, even with the clips in place? Thanks!

Just take the hooks out and put them in the console for when you sell the car. They come right out in about a second. Why have them pushing up through the mats ? That makes no sense.

Anyone tried the rear cargo mat? I want to purchase a full set and am considering the optional cargo mat as well.

Yep its good I have had mine for almost a year now, posted some pics somewhere maybe in this thread. I will look for them. I also had a WeatherTech one for a couple of days, I posted pics of it also. The Toyota one is okay also especially if you access the underfloor storage often, it is two piece.

See post #97 in this thread the HuskyLiner and WeatherTech pics are there.

It makes no sense because they don't push up through the mats when you turn them around. You can also leave the stock mats under them so you don't have to store those either. Both options work well.
