Where do we get the parts? I would like to add custom mirror as we have already done the hard part. Changing out mirror would be easy... I wonder if the mirror would still be heated…

If you need the mirror with running led light , the blue mirror will be shown of Amber LED quite clear rather than the white mirror.

At the moment, this blue mirror is very popular for Asian and European cars like LEXUS, BMW , BENZ , VOLVO.
Its benefit is to help the reduction of too much bright from the sunlight and from the lorry at night.
It also help in water repellent during raining. Anyway, it doesn't mean that there is no 100% of rain drop on the mirror,
it just help to reduce only.

From the picture , your car is the same model as ours but differ on the side mirrors that you have no Cover with LED, then you have to install this blue mirror and wiring to the car signal light. But if you will install the Cover W. LED too , you can wiring with the cover.
Able to see installation method at

Forgot to mention that I, also, thought the $70 shipping charge was quite high.

Would anyone be interested in these mirrors if I can get them? I will ask my relative to contact the company and have someone bring them over to me when they travel to US in October and December.

    PM me.

I wish I could like them but they remind me too much of trucks and buses that have the LED turn signals inside mirrors.

Okay done with this one. Not sure I would recommend product. Side mirrors housing signal is not bright enough for day time use. My hope was that Blue Mirror LED marker would be good for day time use. I would say thumbs down on that idea... Mirror is for sure blue, trying to get adjusted to this change. With tinted windows seems a bit dark. You place LED indicator on mirror yourself. That was not expected... Anyway I am done for now... I made a bit of a mistake on driver side when I adjusted LED during install, foam tape blocked LED a bit, so test light once applied to make sure nothing is blocking it. Of course I did this the first time and got in a rush on the second go around. :( I may go back and fix it. I also may try lights on OEM mirror... looks like you can flip mirror and use blue or normal.
That’s all I have for now, a bit short I know but just wanted to get it posted.

So, any more thoughts/impressions on the mirrors since a little more time has passed with them?

I've been noticing other vehicles with the side turn signals built into the mirror glass, and ALL of them show up perfectly during the day, so I wonder what they have built in that might "dim them" at night, if being brighter during the day could make them TOO bright at night?..... hmmmmmmm

I agree the ones I see on trucks you can see great during the day... I was expecting the same thing... I have notice that even when turn lights are not on you can see area in mirror that looks like clear glass... This is not the case with glass in kit... It is blue on one side and silver (normal mirror) on other side... and no clear area for LED... I think that is the main issue... Not sure...

Sorry for the bump, and before I go any further, just want to let the Mods/Admins know that I am not the seller or representative of these mirrors. I am planning to get them, so I might as well ask.

I contacted the place and they said the bulk order is at 10 pairs minimum. As I said before, I have someone who can bring them over to me on the first week of November. So the shipping won't be $70 as I am sending them out within U.S. They can also make these mirrors for Gen 2 and any other cars as well, that can be combined to reach the minimum.

As for the brightness, I will send XMAN's video (with his permission) to them to see if they can be improved. They said it will take about 2 weeks to make them, so if they cannot improve by the first week of November, I still have my brother who can bring them at the end of December.

Anyway, the mirrors will, of course, has same warranty as the manufacturer (I think it is 6-months but I will definitely clarify that) and I will have extra pairs just in case.

PM me if anyone still interested.

Okay I have been trying to do some homework on fixing this product... From looking at other cars the big differences from what I can tell is the reflective mirror film is removed from area where lights shines through the mirror, with these lights not only does the light need to shine past the reflective film but also the light that is reflecting back from the mirror. I went to a glass shop today and asked if they could help me out. I was going to give them my OEM mirrors to work on. They said they had no way to fix them, we talked about drilling holes and putting clear tint or film over out side of mirror but they still were not willing to try. I went to a place that does engraving, to see if they could remove reflective coat off mirrors. Question is still out standing with manager, they were already trying to tell me no in a nice way but I asked they take picture and review with manger \ owner...
I love the LED part of the light looks very cool at night but really wanted the same effect as other vehicles with arrows as you can see them great during the day.
I think the quick test is to put LED behind a piece of glass, walk out in sunny daylight and provide some video that LED is bright enough. I am thinking they will be but did not think to do this... Not all that fun to remove and re-mount. Not sure if I take back cover apart many times if my defrost sticker will continue to go back on. If they would fix the mirror I believe it would be a great improvement to the product. If they fix for others or update design, I wish they could fix it for me... I rather not invest more money in this MOD but I am not happy with it yet. Not sure why they sell it with mirror without it being custom to fit their LED lights, it would be cool if already mounted as install video makes you believe. My expectation is that LED would already be mounted to mirror and LED would work the same as you see on other vehicles. I did upload some pictures under my photo album... I will post a better picture of where I believe LED should be installed, of course only a recommendation. I would expect the distributor to double check and get measurements. If they have one of the black mirror housing I believe they could get measurements from that. Then this would give them a good indication of where on the mirror reflective coat needs to be removed. Note, I was using 3m adhesive peal back paper on the back of LED as indication of where to remove reflective coating, as it has holes in it that match LED layout.
I think they could make a lot of money with this mod. Just needs a bit more work.
As a side note the company told me they did not want to make product too bright as could be issue for night driving. Valid point at this point not sure if other versions of this product installed as OEM put in a daylight sensor that would lower volts at night... I think no but have no idea...
