You can't compare Hertz to 10W3 - latter falls in to lower category. Hertz is simply insane. Look at my signature, this is my setup and it sounds incredible. Yes, you'll have to spend couple grands for speakers and amp, but it worth every penny if you're serious about music and SQ. I am not saying that this setup is the best - there are components that cost $4k+ alone, but for people with limited budget this is probably the best you can get. I am constantly finding excuses to drive the car so I can listen to music :)

I got mine at eBay for $20 delivered, but it was just a single item listing. I'll ask my installer who is an official Hertz dealer if they stock them or can order.

    bumpety bump

I would, in addition to the grille, also like to know the cheapest place to actually buy the SPEAKER, because my enclosure appears to be heading this way!!! Yippee!!!

My installer told me that they do not offer any Hertz-branded grille. I remember when I was searching for this grille, the only sites that sell it were Europeans. Got lucky finding it so cheap from US seller :)

There is a Bulgarian guy selling Hertz stuff at eBay, I will contact him with question about Hertz HGR 250 grille.

Well, being the impatient one that I am.....and considering the fact that my enclosure should arrive tomorrow-ish......I went ahead and bought a grille from this place:
    http://icedotcomexpress.com/subwoof...ubwoofer-p-5722.html?language=en&currency=USD

The site is icedotcomexpress.com, and the cost in US dollars was $73.

I just want to add the sub right now. I want to keep the OEM head unit. I would add speakers at some point as well, but I want to stay far away from replacing the head unit.

I got my enclosure yesterday!! I must say that the build quality of it is top notch, and I highly recommend it to those who have been thinking about it. It fits that little corner of the rear of the hatch PERFECTLY. I got black carpet on mine, for those that were concerned over matching issues, and love the color. It just pulls out all the other black trim in the car and blends wonderfully. SO, if you're concerned about matching/not matching, then get the black like I did.

And on an even brighter note, I haven't found a place online to buy the speaker at a price that's not exorbitantly jacked up...!!

So, in my never-ending pursuit of the Hertz speaker, I have just stumbled upon the realization that there are two kinds of the 250: the HX 250 speaker, as well as the HX 250D..... So, which one of the two am I supposed to buy definitely to fit the enclosure?

    There's the 250D:

    Hi Energy HX 250D

    and the 250....

This site has the 2 models listed:

    Subwoofers - 10" Subwoofers

I believe that the "D" version has dual voice coils....essentially the same as the single voice coil sub, but it will give you some options to go higher or lower on the impedance to get the best match-up for your specific amplifier configuration.
