Looks like an attractive (closeout?) pricing.

I don't want to bump an old thread. Some people are looking for "deals" on factory look units.
Toyota Prius 09-11 Navigation E7572NAVI FlyAudio This company says they'll ship to the US (from Canada) I didn't do a test order, I don't know how much shipping will cost.

There is also an Ebay-Seller who has a factory look unit for $565 (including shipping from China)

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Toyota-Prius-car-DVD-player-Radio-TV-GPS-Navigation-system-Win-CE6-0-PIP-HD-LCD-/280752003456?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item415e1f9980

I don't know anything about this unit. I don't think I'd be a guinea pig.

It's almost par. You probably want to use a Capital One credit card so you don't pay a currency exchange charge.

I don't know anything about the site.

They answered back in case anyone is interested.

"1) Are there any more units in stock?
Currently, we have 300 units in stock.
    2) Is this pricing/deal a limited time offer?

    While quantity last.
    3) Would you consider discounts if approached with a "group buy"?

This is the minimum price we can sell this unit. (this price is below factory producing cost)
    4) How long would shipping take if sent to US zip code 07012?

    Standard shipping 5-7 days = $39

    5) How are warranty/returns/exchanges handled b/w Canada and the US?

Each unit comes with one year replacement warranty.
I installed and sold more than 1000 units from Flyaudio in the last couple years, and the warranty claims was less than 1%. ( better than "Clarion" and other brand names)
For warranty if needed, you will send the unit back to us with a return prepaid."

Has anyone had any luck changing the boot screen image? Everything I read on the internet says to press on the picture of the gear in the top left of the setup screen, but nothing happens.

I installed my Flyaudio late last night, but so far it is very cool. It looks fantastic, and the iPod controls are very nice. You can't beat it for $540 shipped either!!

They will charge you for 2 to 3 hours of labor for the unit and a backup camera.

I checked Kelly Blue Book and the addition of Navi and backup camera adds $1,000 to the resale value. That's nice to know that I will get my money back in a few years at trade-in.

From memory with other things from China, you put the image on the SD card, then you browse and point to it (WinCE) - not sure if this is exactly the same though - isn't there a menu????

Metra also has a JBL adapter. You can probably save a few dollars if you buy from E-Bay but Crutchfields support is worth a few dollars.

I have a Prius II, so I didn't need the JBL adapter. The install is pretty easy; basically you take the brackets off your stock stereo, mount the bluetooth mic and gps antenna, and that's it.

There should be a menu, but it won't come up on mine. Maybe it isn't on the Prius model. I don't know. This is where I read about the secret menu with the images already in the nav unit:

I gave up on the hidden menu, and I was able to change the boot image to a Toyota Logo using the instructions on FlyAudio's website:

    FLYAUDIO CORPORATION--

    It looks awesome!!! :cheer2:
