Remove that Transgo shift kit you installed.... Skert! lol

Seriously, my car is very smooth after warming up. Of course I usually know when the engine turns on but most of the time it's so smooth no one else in the car knows. It feels nothing like a hard shift in a traditional automatic. Maybe it is a Geniii thing?

After driving a VW DSG trans with its neck-snapping jolts for years, the Prius is as smooth as silk to me. :D

That'a a good description of what I feel, not saying it shifs overly hard when it shifts but in no way is it silky smooth as described by some.

Maybe it's all the extra HP in the ICE? LOL Might just be i take off faster than you, if i go slow it's harder to notice the ICE starting up.

My experiences are similar...it's sometimes only slightly noticeable when accelerating gently enough but noticeable all the same, and nothing out of the ordinary for the Prius.

i don't know, if you're trying to pulse and glide, and you're only getting 47-48 mpg's, you should probably have it looked at, maybe something is wrong.
