The survey’s most-reliable vehicle was the new Lexus CT 200h hybrid, a luxury version of the Toyota Prius, the world’s best-selling gas-electric vehicle.

The automaker has also fixed squeaks and rattles that consumers reported last year with the Lexus IS 250 convertible.

Surprising that the Scion xD is #1. Well basically it's a Toyota but it looks like it's the only 2012 Scion model so it skewed the results being the only data point.

Look at the wide range of Nissan reliability. This is consistent with my perception of Nissan: hit or miss.

Yep, ALL the Scions are 'Top Rated'. However within that ranking the xD would be 'super' Top and the xB only say Top, with the tC in the middle.

Yep, I agree (as a former owner of 2 Nissans). The 370Z didn't do well last year either.

I'm surprised the Titan is the best in reliability now. At one point, the Titan, Pathfinder Armada, Infiniti QX56 and previous gen Quest were EXTREMELY unreliable and some/all of them got the dubious distinction of being the least reliable cars, amongst all makes.
