I am not sure if I should be worried but I noticed that my left headlight and my right left tail light have both gone at about the same time.

I called the dealer and they want $250 in service I called a few other no one around here wants to work on a Prius. I have have read the forums and also watched the video guide. So I think i should be able to do the front headlight, but not sure about the tail light should I be worried about them both going out at the same time ?

The taillight is (I think)a T10 bulb - cost about $1.00 - time to fix 1 minute. The instructions should be in the owners manual. Open the rear hatch - remove the plastic cover - pull out the socket - replace the blub.

The dealer probably wants to remove the front bumper to replace the headlight.

Thanks Cwerdna, did I miss the boat on the class Action Settlement ? I am at about 70k miles and looking at the site it shows "All claims must be postmarked by May 30, 2011"

xpcman thanks for the hint I will head to local store and see if I can match the rear bulb.
