Just contacted Sunrise Toyota on Long Island; they just got in a prius v five with all options @$36,500 list. Asked what a 3 year 12K lease price would be with $2,000 down. They came back with $575 a month which I think is outrageous. Any other offers out there, or comments? Thanks!

When it comes down to it, people will be knocking down their doors, so they don't have to bargain on this one...That is the same quote I got (for 15K) @ Westchester Cty NY, as an 8 year customer. Decided to go w/o the Adv Tech package (they only had 2 to choose from) and it was $440, plus they threw in a set of all-weather cargo mats (whoopie!). Pretty annoying, but still 30% down from my 2008 Highlander Hybrid lease (HATED that car) and MUCH better mpg, so I am thrilled.

So glad I pick it up Monday (after freaky snow), so I have time to get snowtires.

    That's actually not outrageous.
Sadly, TFS has determined the value of pretty much everything in that $5600 Advanced Tech package to only have $350. in value after 3 years.

Meaning, the rest of that $$ gets spread out over 36 months... that's a HUGE jump in payment from a "base" v V package car ...

I just calculated one myself, and not knowing what your state's drive offs are in relation to how much is really required at lease signing, I can only tell you mine in CA. If I sell the car at MSRP which is possibly what THEY were doing (???) it's $2000 cash drive offs here which will be eaten up by a little tax on the cap reduction and our license fees are approx $325 but it's $595 + tax a month here in California using your drive offs and using MSRP as price point. And, you being tier 1+ non-encore.
