I'm looking to get aftermarket wheels for the Prius V.

    Are the rims a 5 x 100 bolt pattern with a 45 offset?

Aloha and Welcome to PC. I don't know what the bolt pattern or offset is for the Prius v for sure. I would guess the bolt pattern is 5 x 100 like the Gen III, don't want to guess on the offset. The uppercase V in your thread title might be confusing to some you are in the correct forum thought. The Prius v uses a lowercase v and spelled numbers for the trim levels. The 2010 Gen III standard Prius used Roman numerals to denote the trims I, II, III, IV, and V. In 2011 they switched it to spelled numbers also for the Gen III. We all wonder why Toyota named the v the v, it supposedly stands for versatile.

The 2012 Prius v Two and Three come with, 16-in. 10-spoke alloy wheels with full wheel covers and P205/60R16 tires.

The 2012 Prius v Five comes with, 17-in. 10-spoke alloy wheels with P215/50R17 tires.

Knowing the trim level will help you find the correct information you seek.

I am in the same boat as you, looking to purchase a 2nd set of wheels for winter tires. The Prius v (wagon) has bigger wheels than the orginal Prius. I believe they are 5-114, not sure about the exact offset. Just got my v yesterday will measure in the next week.

I measured the bolt pattern today, it is 5x114. Backspacing = 5.66" on my 17" wheel. Looking to purchase a winter wheel and tire set in the next few days.:)

Also the socket size for the lug nuts is 21 mm.

Could you give us your OEM tire info for http://priuschat.com/forums/prius-v...-wagon-oem-tire-rpm-speedometer-accuracy.html ?

If you have a GPS you trust it'd be nice to see speedometer accuracy tested as well. From http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii-2010-prius-main-forum/98662-how-fast-have-you-taken-prius.html we found out the Gen III speedometer goes non linear at about 45 MPH as seen in this quote

It appears the OEM 17" tire is a Toyo P215/50R17 Proxes A20

Toyo isn't sold on tirerack.com and I haven't found the diameter or revs per mile for this tire yet.

Thanks, that's useful to know one sense (I didn't know that) but unfortunatley 1010tires.com doesn't list tire diameter by size or revs per mile by size for their tires.

I've looked at several sites that sell Toyo tires and none have specs for the tires that go any further than the bare minimum it takes to find a price.

And for whatever reason Toyo's own web pages don't list that model tire in anything other than the press release saying it'll be the OEM tire for the Prius v.

I am getting my winter tires soon. When I do the swap I'll measure my A20's and post.

I measured the revs per mile on my Toyo proxes A20 at 814.8 per mile.

Can someone give me some Toyota part numbers for steel wheels that will fit a Prius v? Saw in other threads have some options and recommendations on wheel diameters and tire sizes. We have a v package Five on order and want to get some steel wheels and winter tires as we're in the Colorado mountains.
    Thanks!

Thanks Toyofixer. I picked up a set of 16x7 wheels on Tire Rack that are +40 offset for our Three for a perfect fit.

The new Prius V uses the 5x4.5 Toyots pattern that also fits Models (Camry, Avalon, Solara). regular Prius models have the 5x100 bolt pattern

The offset on the 16 inch wheels are 39mm. Used wheels from the late model Camrys, Avalons or Solara would be a good fit for snow or winter tires.

    Mike,

I'm also looking at picking up some winter tires (with wheels) for our Prius V. What tires are you looking at? Are you purchasing tires already mounted on wheels?

Snow tires in the spring? in Texas? Whatever floats your boat I guess. I purchased Michelin X-Ice2, could not be happier. look for my thread about it for full details.

For what it's worth, rims from a Mazda6 fit the v just fine. Same bolt pattern, same offset. Hub is a little bigger (67mm) on the Mazda, but a set of hubcentric rings from Amazon took care of that.
    hope this helps!
