Looks great XMAN LIVE, but what's up with DAMNinic. Did you drop your phone in the water or something? Did Apple release their new 1 mega pixel camera today?

I had regular lights, he sent me a set of lights with the led's in them. I could have sent him my lights and he would have put them in, or give him my lights inexchange and it would have been less. So he can probably do anything you want to most any lights. I have had these on my car for 6 months. I had 1 problem with 1 bad led and he fixed it right away. He is ok

    We're not talking about headlights.

The Valenti taillights can easily be disassembled by removing several screws. If a LED goes out or the the load resistor must be changed ten the job is easy if one can work with a small solder iron.

Which shouldn't happen for the life of typical car ownership, as they're LEDs. TWP offers a one-year free replacement warranty for any defective LEDs, which typically occur within the first year, assuming of course you don't void the warranty in the first place by opening them up.

It's not the LED's! The LED's are mounted in pairs on several single smaller PCB's. They are connected with wires in between as well as the load resistor that prevents hyper-blinking. These parts can vibrate off after a longer period or corrode due to the mounted position outside the car. The internals are not sealed.

Therefore it's good to know that the Valentis could be repaired with low effort, without sending them around or even to pay for a replacement. Just an example: The hyper flashing issue during the test period could have beend solved within minutes.

I'm not so sure about that as Calvin determined that the problem was related to a defective harness. The hyper flashing issue was intermittent depending on whether the wiring harness was fully extended (it goes away) or bunched together (it's always hyperflashing; this is how the harness sits naturally when installed). This happened on both his car and his wife's Gen II.

No word from mbro on them yet (pricing, etc.). However, we did finally get word that mine have been shipped....but that's still all I know regarding them. Bummer, cause my body kit is being delivered tomorrow to the bodyshop by the freight company, and I wanted all that stuff like that to be here by the time it arrived. It appears that I'll have to undo the front bumper to put them on (strictly due to the design of my body kit, which has pieces on the kit that prohibit easy access to the signals from the front...). I really don't want to have to turn around and pay someone to do that when the bumper is going to be off right now anyway for the body kit installation, but we don't always get what we want! Then maybe the signals will shock me and show up tomorrow! Or not....lol!

Valenti has never responded on the rear 3rd brake light either, but they were very difficult when we were trying to purchase my tail lights from them. I ended up just buying them thru TWP. Perhaps TWP will get better results from them since he has already done that big purchase of tail lights from them.

Edit: The freight company just called from the next exit before mine wanting directions to the bodyshop.... One year later, the suspense is KILLING me!! lol

We just got the first response today from MBRO, after waiting for about 3 months (just trying to get any indication of life from them in our million attempts to find out what's up w/ my front signals --- i.e., are they ever sending them??!!), and they didn't mention anything about where we'd asked about a group buy... Well, they ARE getting back to us on what the total price is for me. HOWEVER, I found out on their website that they're out of stock until February anyway!!

No idea about Valenti designing them. You should ask Panson.

The one bino has doesn't appear to be same brand as MBRO with its annoying cheese grater. He has a link to them in one of his threads but it's broken so I suggest PMing bino.

That's not what Bino has. I like bino's better but wish Valenti or another company would come up with a better design without the thick, distracting border.

I've never seen any w/out the border. I guess they feel it necessary to continue the lines of the fog lights with the blinker lights or something.
