    order confirmed. Early 2012. Now to go test drive the volt... then make my decision between a LEAF, PiP, or Volt....

    I had the same issue others were having with being unable to log-in. I tried when the window opened a few minutes before official start. After going all "2001" ape-ish, I did eventually log in after 15 minutes of constantly trying.

    I now need to go have a lay down, as I think I have heart palpitations.

    I am #653.

    i had that same errors.service_unavailable in firefox. i run noscript and even though i had it set to allow everything, i just switched over to safari and was able to get in and order. did not get lower than #47... low 60s.

    Hello,

    I also saw the "sold out" message. I just reloaded the page w/o clearing cookies and went through the order process again. It seems that if you change your zip to change dealers it can take awhile for the pages to update.

    Number 116 :) I was in early, my dealer was pretty sure she was fast - she obviously didn't count on Priuschatter's ordering speed ;)

    I ended up going with Roseville Toyota with John Roth, not with the priuschat approve dealer at Auburn because if you read my previous post, they were dumb as nuts about it. Just confirmed my order, he gave me the $500 off as promised. I post this now after the fact because I didn't want to promote another dealer not on priuschat without verifying that they were legit. If you haven't ordered yet, try giving him a call and he will give everyone $500 off since he has to compete with Auburn down the street.

    I called him personally after I submitted my order, he clicked approved with price and I confirmed, took about 5 min on the phone. Now that's personal attention but then again, he doesn't have the huge volume of orders to go through.

    Patience folks--Dianne must be getting completely slammed right now and she has only so many phones and people helping her. Probably similar for many of the Priuschat certified PIP dealers.

    I'm still trying to get a handle on whether there is really a problem with the site or if it's more related to individual password issues or what.

    The page I think opened a bit early. I was driving so had to wait to reAch my destination. Had no issue on chrome. The change dealer took a while to load and I restarted. Places order. Preferred dealer was quick to confirm and my order was in at 9.11. Probably could have gotten in by 9.05 had not had the delay in changing dealer and on 3G connection.

    All in all let's see how it turns out. I own a Leaf so this should be an interesting experience.

    How does the dealer confirm come back? e-mail or window on the Toyota page. Waiting to hear from dealer.

    Dianne must be overwhelmed.

    EDIT:...Just confirmed. Got e-mail from Toyota, then log into Toyota to confirm.

    I wonder if the dealer site is having the same problem (or running off the same server) as the order site... :p
