I was looking to buy some LEDs for my prius and I found this one

http://www.amazon.com/dp/product/B0060RMD2U?tag=priuschatcom-20 way cool and seems like all the LEDs that I need are inside.
However, I NEVER heard about this brand before. Any IDEAs? guys? :rapture:

Spidey, do you know anyone that has installed an interior light kit? I think they're really sharp!

DAMN!!! That is like a stadium. Might be more than I was looking for. I was hoping to only brighten up the floor area, maybe doors and back license plate area. Also, I know there are several types of floor mats, so which ones do you have? Thank you!

I have the same kit and it turned out great, it's a litte brighter than I expected interior wise. But I love the light on the license plate and especially the front parking lights.

Well worth it for the kit compare luxer1 brand.

I saw the kits, and really like them, but really had a hard time flipping that much coin on some interior lights.

So, I replaced all my interior lights -vanity, map, dome, door, and hatch with SME LED panels from eVilBay - total was $21.42.

2 of these for the dome light - had to solder wires.

    These went everywhere else.

Needed to belt sand about an 1/8" from the length for the door lamps. also needed a couple dabs of hot glue, as I don't trust the foam adhesive.

    So far, pretty bright!!

    Tim,

changing interior lighting is also on the top of my list. Thought, read couple other postings on the forum, I noticed couple member gave warnings about buying low quality lights from eBay. I did check out the seller's items on eBay, and the price was VERY attractive. Before me buying 'em, just wanna get more feedbacks from u in terms of the quality and the longevity on these LED lights. Tks.

I've seen the warnings, too. But, I've bought LED's from eBAy for years and haven't had much trouble with them. Plus, they are cheap and easy enough to replace if something goes wrong. I bought a couple extra sets, just in case.

Thanks, tim. The only reason I asked u was because when I was putting on the led strip below the door, for some reasons that it shuts the dome and map lights, as well as my traction control was turned off and couldn't switch back on. Had to bring back to Toyota to get it fixed.
Guess it is cheap enough that Ima give it a try.

    See post #8

I needed to belt sand about an 1/8" from the length for the door lamps, and also needed a couple dabs of hot glue in the map lights, as I don't trust the foam adhesive. I used hot glue because it's easy to removed if I need to replace a panel.

The dome light needed the 2 panels soldered into one connection.

I installed the LEd kit from ijdmtoy. I love the color of the LED's and the installation took about 20 minutes.

I just think that the map lights are just a little to bright for me. I might get some light tint and reduce the brightness of the dome lights. Also love the new parking light but now my headlights dont match and look yellow-ish. I have yet to replace the vanity mirror and might hold off on that one. Door lamps also had to be sanded a little for fitment.

Overall the kit is not bad and easy to isntall. Its just a little too bright for me.

Has anyone tried installing this LED kit on a 2010 pk 4 Prius? I was wondering if they had any problems installing the map light?

Excellent deal, I ordered from the same guy and just finished installing them for all the interior lighting. Looks great for under $25. I installed the same 12 SMD panels everywhere including the dome and didn't have to do any soldering. It's pretty bright.
I tried to get them in for the license plate lights but the hole is too small for the led panel.

    thanks for sharing.

Definitely thanks for sharing! Here is what I did for my interior lights. All SMD bulbs/panels.

Dome - 2x 48 SMD panels soldered together
Map lights - 2x 20 SMD panels soldered together each side (4 total)
Vanity mirror lights - 1x 12 SMD panel each side
trunk light- 1x 20 SMD panel
Parking lights - 1x 5 SMD bulb each side (eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices)
Door courtesy light- 1 x 5 SMD bulb like the parking lights above

Total cost not counting the extra panels/bulbs i bought were around 32 bucks. Looks just like the pictures of the premium one's on this thread =).

Required a little elbow grease but looks just as good. Good thing about the premium ones are the perfect fit and custom trims.

Evilbay is not active on eBay since 2006. Does he use a different nickname?
