As you can see, I don't have it right. I went to Fuelly and signed on and created an acct. for my Prius.
Then I tried to put one of their boxes into my signature and the result is what you see below........twice. It's there twice because I can't delete it, or at least don't know how to delete it when I go to "edit signature".
So I guess two questions. First how to delete what I've got here, and also which badge to I copy and paste into my signature to get the desired result.
    Thanks for any help.

I simply used the URL method from the Fuelly webpage.

    Thanks -

On the bottom of the edit signature page it says, Can upload images for signature No, and Allow HTML No. Why can't I upload images to my signature?

Also, I'd like to know how to get rid of the two lines, "Click the image to open in full size" currently in my signature.

All that is irrelevant. You are adding BB code not HTML nor are you adding a "picture". It's a png file so just use the BB code supplied by Fuelly. :)

Sorry for being such a PITA. I now know which banner from Fuelly to load into my Sig. The problem is that your forum only allows 2 images in a signature. So I need to delete the ones that are currently there that say, "Click on the image to open in full size".
    How do I delete them?

I really feel stupid over all this, but the fact is I have no idea how to get those things out of my signature....lol. It is a bit nice to hear that someone else is having the same question.

If you go to User CP > Edit Signature and delete everything out of the lower edit box, those should go away, then paste in BB code from fuelly.

Here's the thing cycledrum. I've been in touch with Tideland Prius who told me he deleted the two unwanted links in my signature, which he did. I then went to Fuelly and copied and pasted the BB code into my signature in 'edit your signature' on my User CP, and when I did I got the same things I'd gotten previously that Tideland Prius had removed. I sent him another PM asking what I was doing wrong and he hasn't gotten back to me yet.
So even if I try what you suggest and delete "Regards Len" out of the signature (that's all that's in there.......the "Click the Image to Open in Full Size is only in the Preview Signature area), I still don't know how to get the proper banner into my signature.

Your not the only one. I have been trying also. I do feel I have followed directions. I noticed on the Fuelly website there is no photo above the code on my fuelly signature page.
    Large Banner (500 x 63)

To include the banner image in a forum signature, copy and paste the following BBCode: [IMG]

So I figure there is something not right in the code that I am copying. Im no IT person so I could stare at it all day and not figure it out. I have copied it strait from the fuelly page. I copied that same code in as my signature. I figure its not working on fuelly page for some reason so it will not work here. Any suggestions on how to get this fixed?

    Thanks!

Darn looks like code shows up as red box now and not pure code, I figure somethings off. Might play with code a bit.

That's odd. It works for me. When you post, there's a checkbox that says "Show signature." Make sure that's checked. The text in my Signature box is:
    [ URL="http://www.fuelly.com/driver/Rebound/prius"][ IMG]http://www.fuelly.com/sig-us/36519.png[ /IMG][ /URL]

Note that I had to add a space between the [ and the BBCode for this example, or else the banner image would have appeared. The part that confuses me, though, is that my banner should be clickable -- it should link to my Fuelly page -- but it doesn't.

Let's see what your BBCode looks like when I post it:
Odd... It doesn't work. So I pasted your Fuelly image URL into my browser:
    http://mefi.us/images/fuelly/sig-us/100224.png
This gives me a 404 -- So the problem appears to be with Fuelly.
I noticed that your image's URL has a different format than mine, so I tried this:
    http://www.fuelly.com/sig-us/100224.png
    No luck with that, either.

The problem may be that Fuelly doesn't make you a public member until you log three full fuel-ups, and you sort of have one and a half. Let me explain -- When you fuel up, you reset your trip odometer. At the NEXT fillup, you enter into Fuelly the miles on your trip odometer and the number of gallons you just added. Then you reset your trip odometer and drive off. I have an iPhone, and in the Safari browser, I created a shortcut to Fuelly on my Home Screen, which takes me straight to the "Enter new fuel up" page.

Do any of you know how to get the "Click the image to open in full size" mess out of our signature?
Still not sure what all the above means. Sounds like we have to wait until we have re-filled 3 times?
Seems odd because no one else has mentioned that.....not even the mods. I've spoken with.

I just sent a message to the Fuelly site explaining the issue an asking for clarification.

Yes, it appears that you need to fill up three times. It doesn't have to do with PriusChat, it's Fuelly that won't serve up your image until the third fill up.

You can record a two gallon fill up if you want. It doesn't matter.

The Prius has tank is about ten gallons, which means you get at least 400 miles on a tank, and possibly 450 miles. More miles is at your own risk...

Now if I could just get rid of those two worthless links in my signature................................

Here's where we are currently. As you can see, Tideland Prius has removed the bad links from my signature. Also, I sent an email to Paul Bausch at Fuelly and he asked for the URL where I've been trying to paste his banner and I sent that to him. BTW, you don't need any Fuel ups at all at Fuelly to be able to copy and paste one of their banners so that's not an issue here.
As soon as I hear something I will get back with a response.

Just paste your Fuelly signature code into a post here and see if it works. But I remember when I first put my Fuelly sig in PriusChat, clicking it would take me to my Fuelly page. Now it just opens up a mini-window with the image.

I give up. I spoke with Paul at Fuelly. He said the error was on his end and he fixed it and now everyone has their banner on this thread.....................except ME!!!
I went to Fuelly and instead of it having the URL=http etc. stuff it had my actual banner. So I clicked on "copy image" and pasted it into my sig. and the picture went in there but not here in the thread. Then when I go back to my edit sig. page it's not there either.
    As you can see below!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well as you can see NOW....the problem has been solved.:)
