Hi have the '12V with the technology package. I'm going to get the Android scantool Torque Pro and have a question about the Prius and its default bluetooth/ODB II capabilities.

The Torque software package says you need a bluetooth adapter to plug-into your ODB port of your car. Since the Prius already has bluetooth built-in does that mean I don't need to get the adapter that plugs into the ODB port?

    Thanks.

You need the ODBII adaptor (BT or USB at your choice). Built-in BT is just for communication between phone and headunit. There is no chance to get CAN bus messages via this interface.

phone is your cell-phone, headunit is the radio, CAN bus is the engine data used by Torque
