Dohhhh, Have read the thread and can not decide on Husky or Weathertech??? Will probably be getting the rear cargo mat also. Don't anticipate a lot of water but definitely snow, ice and normal winter muck... Any last minute suggestion for an '11 Prius?

My weathertech liners work great for muck and I work out outdoors a lot. The only thing I don't like about them is the plastic is rather stiff so items on the floor tend to slide. If the Huskys are more rubbery then that would be a difference to consider.

The Husky I got is not rubbery either. By the way, the price difference between two is about $40~$50.

Thanks. I thought they were rubber for some reason.

I just ordered the digital fit floor liner for my 2011 Prius. For some strange reason they did not allow the liner to cover the area where the drivers left foot rests. I live in Wisconsin and that means that any salt or winter slop is guaranteed to leave a stain on the carpeting in this area This is in my opinion a very stupid oversight on the part of WeatheTech and sort of defeats the purpose of the liners. I wrote WeatherTech asking them to explain this design and received no response.

Lowbone I called and emailed WeatherTech about my issues. They never respond. It is a horrible company that does not care about the customers that buy their product.

The design for the third gen Prius has a lot of flaws and I suspect they are aware of them. If you are looking for a good mat the Huskey is the way to go.

OK, I get it, you aren't happy with your purchase, and the pictures explain why. So how about sending them a registered letter, with return receipt requested, and include the pictures you have posted here, explaining that you want to file a claim under the three year warranty covering workmanship and manufacturing? (Although they do state on their website that you can call to start the process.) They give you a return number to put on your package, you send your floorliners back, and they give you a refund. I'm guessing that they don't monitor this forum, so you'll maybe have to tell them how many times you have called, emailed, etc to which they have not responded. Flaming on them here isn't getting the job done.
I have no particular axe to grind, as I have had a set of WeatherTech regular floormats in one car for ten years, and OEM Toyota mats in my current Prius for nearly six years. But I live in sunny So Cal and have only a bit of rain with which to contend from time to time. Good luck.:)

Here's my two cents, I have the Husky mats they are a perfect fit, do not move , are deep enough for Michigan weather, cost less, and black looks great!

As I posted many times they have been unresponsive to my requests. Flaming here will make others aware of the flaws the WeatherTech mats have and their lack of customer service. If I read this thread I would buy Husky mats.

In my correspondence I sent them links to this tread. They simply do not care.

First I want to say that this is my first post. Great forum here!! I spend some time over at subaruoutback.org also; both great resources.

Wife and I recently purchased a 2010 III w/ Solar Roof and I have a quick question about the weathertech colors - we have the misty gray interior and we can't decide whether to order gray or black. I read this entire thread and couldn't get my eye on pictures of a misty gray interior with black and gray weathertech floor liners to compare. Would anyone be up for posting one of each so we can see how they look? I have the black ones in my outback, but it has black carpet so the decision was much easier.

I look forward to contributing where I can once we learn a bit more about the car. I am currently planning the fog lights, lower rocker moldings, mudguards, and floor liners.

    Thanks!
    Brad

I noticed the extreme amount of money that WeatherTech is spending on advertising. They have TV ads, magazine ads and most web sites that feature car content they have a banner.

Instead of investing so much money in getting new customers they should spend a little effort getting existing customers to make a repeat buy or recommend their product to others.

There level of customer service for me is a 0 on a scale from 1 to 10. How did you get them to send you a replacement? They never respond to anything I send them.

It doesn't sound like the weathertech product is any good. I used to have the rubber mats it sucks, moved around everywhere, the hook didn't catch the rubber mat and sometimes it would flip and cover my accelerator pedal. And the dam thing was really expensive too.

I bought weathertech mats for my dad's Highlander and they were very nice. I just purchased a Prius 2 weeks ago and was going to do the same for it... after reading this tread and looking at the Husky's I went with them. I got the fronts, backs, and cargo from streetsideauto for $151 shipped (and they came in 2 days later!!)

As for the over all quality I would say the Weathertech mats are slightly higher quality (in general... seems the design is not as good)

Over all I would say they are NOT worth the almost 2x price.

This weekend in Cleveland we were hit with alot of snow. If you get snow the WeatherTech mats are horrible. Here is a pic I took this morning.

    I hate these mats.

Anyone know if the front Weathetech Digital Fit mats for the 2011 (regular) Prius will fit the 2012 model?

I wrote to WeatherTech Customer Service on their web site to inquire, but if the comments here are any indication, I could be waiting a loooong time for them to reply.
