That looks too much like stock so what's the point? If you like blue, you might want to consider heat blue steering wheel, which will be available through Nigel-JDMParts for $189.99 shipped.

My stock wheel is not leather wrapped and the one I posted is full leather with the "sport" grips and stitching. It's a different alternative for those that do not want wood.

The one pictured above is ugly and tacky.

Closest I have seen is silver carbon fiber:

As an update: I ordered the kurogi eye (burl) sport wheel from the shop BLAZONRY. The total price with shipping is 26400 JPYen or around $330 USD. I did not have to use Tenzo, as the shop from Rakuten is shipping it directly to me.

I got an email today saying that it will ship tomorrow. I will update once I receive the wheel

So you'll actually have black buttons unlike in the photo? Do they have the DRCC and LKA buttons (which are what those with ATP have on the right side) in black?

All options I have seen for the center pieces are stick-ons; therefore the bluetooth and the cruise control buttons stay silver.

    I recently ordered:

and have the bluetooth buttons on the left. I am hoping it does not look tacky. As soon as it arrives I will post pics.

Are you actually getting everything shown in the photo or just the heat blue steering wheel? Personally I'm getting the piano black but if I were to get the heat blue, I'd keep it simple and either retain the silver pieces if I have buttons (don't like silver on black) or get the black pieces, and pair it with blue center emblem and heat blue shift knob. They also have piano black shift knob as shown.

Unfortunately everything in that picture and those shift knobs are backwards and geared toward RHD vehicles.

I know they are backwards, but the piano black would match nicely.

32... I got the stick on covers in black. I have the bluetooth silver buttons, but I am going to cover them up and got the solid black version. I dont use the buttons on the wheel, I use the Nav unit buttons.

Where or how did you order your stick on covers? I am not happy with mine. Will post pics and reviews of my stick-ons in a bit.

    Thanks

Check out the pics. I either did a piss poor job of sticking the covers or these suckers are seriously flawed.

I am surprised how badly fitted these covers are, especially given how detailed oriented these products typically are. From the get go, I just placed them over the switch as a try out and noticed that they were not fitting correctly, but thought that the wax strip covering the glue part might be throwing off, yet once place it was just as bad.

    You be the judge

    The sticky strips

    Right before putting them on

At first glance looks okay, doesn't it?

Do you think this silver gap will be "deleted" once I install the matching steering wheel?

Another little silver gap and no way will it fix itself with a new steering wheel. :(

This one I don't care for since it is behind the steering wheel and out of "my" sight.

The most annoying part is the gap shown above that makes getting to the volume down quite difficult.

So, at this point I am up for suggestions. But I am thinking of taking them back off, removing the sticky strips and glue back on. Unless someone has a better idea, how can I take them off without breaking them?
WD40 or Nail polish remover or something else?

How about putting them back on again without the sticky strips? What glue could I use?

    Thanks!

For those curious, these are from www.fledermaus.jp and the matching wheel to be installed sometime soon.

Agreed fitment is poor. It looks like it needs to clip in further. That two sided tape is pretty thin, but I would think an auto store like pep-boys or maybe even home depot would have thin tape like that. I would recommend that over glue.

You would be the second or third to make such recommendation. I will use doublesided tape.

I managed to remove both covers no-issues-whatsoever using a blow drier and 15 min. Even the sticky strips from both the steering wheel and the back of the covers came off no problems.

I made a test fit after that and fitting is still not 100%, but it sure is better than how it was delivered.

    More to come...

The issue is that you need it to be thin, most of the 3M tape will be too thick and you would still have the poor fitment.
