Yes... I believe several owners have installed the Five AD kit. Check out Rodney's (HAWAIIANBUILT) ride.

Probably would increase drag... If Toyota could reduce the drag by adding the kit and increase the FE, I would think they would have. Time to get rrolff and the JPL labs involved.

The Five Axis "Aero Kit" is designed with aerodynamics in mind and probably has less drag compared to other kits.

Toyota isn't going to put a full kit on the stock Prius just to lower the drag by a few %. It's all about cost-benefit and they already have the Plus performance package to market to a certain crowd.

Five Axis says no affect on the Prius's coefficient of drag

Five Axis Aerius kit for 2010 Prius now available *UPDATE

If you go to their website (Home - flash site), look under Portfolio - Prius, down the right hand side there are flow maps showing before-and-after kit installation.

Alright I've read over the content on their page. I'm not sure what the purpose for this kit is? I will say that the car looks slick with the kit but if its not going to improve anything why add it in the first place.

You mod your car to be different. Different people have different styles and ( love to mod my cars or trucks for my personal happiness. Most people mod for fun.

Oh I know but I'm looking for something that will decrease drag on my car. Thinking about lowering the car a few and came across that site. Wasnt sure if that kit helped the cd.

If someone can locate it, there's a thread about a Japanese man who did a bunch of modifications in an effort to increase FE and it ain't pretty.

This kit, lowering springs, and rims are just STELLAR. I'd love to have this done to my car, but I can't justify the price.

I guess when it comes down to it, the Prii is designed for the best aerodynamics.

It'll look good for about two weeks, until you scrape it on a driveway or curb, or there's a pothole in the road which you can't avoid.
