I'm planning to get a 2012 Prius Five w/ ATP in Blizzard Pearl, but what interior color do you prefer and why?

Bisque has pretty a very nice color, but I would assume it gets pretty dirty quickly from scuffs and what not.

Misty Grey is out of the question for me.

Dark Grey is the best option for me because it is a good contrast with the exterior and its easier to hide scuffs or dirt marks.

What do you guys think or what is your opinion if you have these options and how is the care, especially with the Bisque interior?

I have blizzard pearl with bisque leather.
12 months in and seating still looks like new. I don't know about the Softex found in MY12's, but the "leather" in MY10's and MY11's is pretty firm, so no scuffs or embedded dirt is a problem.

    My personal preference is:
Bisque is more classy, while Dark Grey is more sporty. If I were to get a Five, I'd opt for Dark Grey since the Five is definitely more sporty/high tech, esp with ATP.

I have dark grey and would get nothing but. But it's all personal preference. I never liked tan/beige interiors, too light and I just don't like the color at all.

Do you have kids? Do you get your interiors dirty quick? Go dark. If not, get what you like.

I will never ever again buy a light color vehicle. Had a Kia van with a bisque interior and after 5-6 years it was trashed, and looked terrible. We generally take pretty good care of our vehicles too.

Currently have the dark grey interior really enjoy it.

I've had the Dark Grey leather twice. First on my 2006 Prius and then again on my 2010 that I have now. I really wish they had actual Black as an option, but the Dark Grey has been great. However, after having it for over 6 years now, I think I'm ready for a change and I'm contemplating getting Bisque in my next Prius. The Misty Grey color was never an option, as I feel it's neither here nor there. I think you will be very pleased with the Dark Grey. Enjoy!

Dark Grey here. The Prius is plasticky enough. The misty makes it worse.

I pondered this same issue. I even sat in cars with different interiors. Of course, I had the same problem choosing the outside color too... I went with the Blizzard Pearl with Bisque interior. I liked the lighter color. My 2008 had it and there were no stains.

Went with BP and Bisque. I think the Dark Grey will be hot in the Summer. Wasn't too worried about dirt. I can usually clean up pretty easy with some Simple Green cleaner. But also don't have young kids kicking around inside. Kids are grown.

I would recommend looking at the light gray if you are looking at fours or fives (now light black). It is as dark gray as the medium gray in my 2005 Accord. I went to visit my new 2012 four (Blizzard Pearl) on the dealer's lot today (it just arrived and is being prepped tomorrow - yippee - and took a look at the interior. If that is indeed my car (and the interior color number IS right), it is beautiful. I have been agonizing over the decision, but my salesman said the new sof-tex colors were quite a bit darker, so I went with the lighter one sight unseen in December. I'll post pictures when I can get a decent one (and get inside the car).

As promised, a picture of the light gray (LB10) sof-tex interior. This is a fairly accurate picture. It is really hard to get a good one with a flash. The seats are slightly 2 tone, but it is only a shade or two. I love it.

Check down 3 posts. I finally got it right. The white thing on the seat is a white check - to put the colors in perspective. I'll post more pictures when I can get some in natural light.

    Thanks for trying Paradox.

    Anxiously awaiting the photo link.

Then can someone post a pic of 2012 SofTex in Dark Gray? How about a pic of 2012 SofTex Bisque?

Then we'd have them all in one place.

OK, let's try a different link. The other one isn't supposed to ask for a password, but....

^ I have never liked Dark Gray in the 2010/2011 because it is too monotone but the new interior provides some nice contrast. The only issue might be how the black dash/console wears over time, given how susceptible the current material is to scratching.

The picture above is the light gray (LB10). It is pretty accurate as to the color. The dark gray (according to my salesman) is almost black.

That's way too dark to be Misty Gray so I take it Misty Gray is no longer offered?

I can't answer that. My salesman said it was called light gray, but the code is LB10 (light black?).
