Pinto Girl what would you suggest as an alternative. I'm really not wanting to spend over $1000 for the parts, so that's been my issue with buying the Sportivo from Sigma. They do have the Tanabe's for $1000
    SUSTEC PRO NF TANABE
    Anyone have those?

LIPriusFreak, thanks for the advice on the D2s, I'll steer away from them. So does anyone have any recommendations? I can't justify $1400 + install for the Sportivo. It's even harder since I can only find one company that sells them. Anyone have experience with the Tanabe's? Those are around $1000. Should I just go OEM, and be boring?

Okay final question. Since I need these sooner than later (bad back shock putting some wicked wear on my back tire) I'm thinking of going with the OEM Struts and Shocks and get the H&R Springs 29062-1. So the only other question is should I upgrade to the touring Struts and Shocks (From Sigma) or just stick with the base?

the touring suspension has upgraded rear struts...the 4 springs and 2 front shocks are identical to the base so either way its fine IMHO

Okay thanks! I'll go the "Keep it simple, Stupid" route and not mess with the touring upgrade. I really just need to get my suspension repaired, since my rear tire is showing some horrible wear pattern. I call it candy cane pattern, but I think the correct name is Heel & Toe.

Thanks again to the PriusChat community for help in selecting my parts!

are you sure you didn't bend a control arm or something back there that knocked out ur alignment and/or camber?

how does the tire sit on level ground?

I can't see a bad strut causing really bad tire wear?

Actually a bad strut can cause uneven tire wear. The lack of controlled rebound and compression can cause weird tire wear. I know it's not intuitive though.

Here is more info: I hope this helps. :)

I believe it could happen in the front because the front tires are on live axles but the rears? I'd be VERY concerned if the rear wheel had play
